ITT: Underrated sports cars

The Mk.2 and Mk.3 Audi TT (RS) is one of the most underrated sports car.
Prove me wrong.

>I own a 2011 Audi TT, only 45k miles

Only the the RS is worth it because of that 5cyl. The rest are shit, no reason to get one over an A5.

>e46 m3 (lole jk)
>ferrari f12 to an extent, everyone seems to always flock to the 4(5/8)8 instead
>e120 corolla xrs (not quite a sports car but still worth a mention)

>hairdresser's cars

>Hairdresser affording a 50-70k car
What fantasy world are you in?

TT's are typically owned by women and are bought by their husbands. Older ones are picked up dirt cheap by hairdressers.

Continue, user, and inform us why the Miata is a mans car

It has a manly badge and a manly styling

>Underpowered
>Heavy
>Audi relaiblity
>Overpriced
Yeah totally "underrated"

I've driven several TT's. They're numb, underwhelming, quiet, and comfy. Not what I want in a sports car at all

>Doesn't mention 5.2(Base) 4.5(RS) second stock 0-60 times
>Doesn't mention handling
>Doesn't mention Quattro
>Wants a car that sounds like its gurgling a cock
>Underwhelming. No context
>Doesn't like comfort.

Can't tell if trolling.

>mindlessly spouting what he sees on Top Gear
>has never been in much less driven a TT
>has an opinion on this subject

In to the trash you go

>has never been in much less driven a TT

This is my TT, user. I posted in a past thread. He wanted me to put Mnt Dew on my hood, so I pout a Mnt. Dew on my hood.

>Mindlessly spouting what he sees on Top Gear
Top Gear hasn't done a Mk.2 or Mk.3 TT review of my knowledge

>In the trash you go

Didn't realize you were quoting Sorry, user

>>Mindlessly spouting what he sees on Top Gear
>Top Gear hasn't done a Mk.2 or Mk.3 TT review of my knowledge
they did the MK2 and the MK1.
mk1:

The mk2 video i can't find on youtube, but they compared it directly to the Alfa Romeo Brera and the Mazda RX-8

Not even kidding.

>0 to 60 in 5.5 seconds
>3.31 gears 6speed manual
>Shelby\GT suspension
>305hp 7k red line.

>24k with the perfomance package.

I'm not really sure what this proves, in either case.

I mean. AZ repeatable 0-60 time is a 0-60 time, period. Not really sure what the source has to do with it.

Nice
I got a 2015 RS 5

Well done. New 2018 TT s looking good too

>2015 RS
Nice.
I think when I part ways with my TT, I'll either get a Cayman S or just a newer TT. But not for awhile. This TT still has a lot to offer, only being 45k miles. I do wish though I had the new virtual cockpit.

Or if Nissan finally decides to update their sports coupe (currently the 370z).

Jesus christ is this the same guy who got his feelings hurt in the miata thread a week ago?
Nigga you dont even know what a haldex system is you have no idea what is underrated or not
You dont know ANYTHING about cars other than that shit your parents bought you

>You dont know ANYTHING about cars other than that shit your parents bought you

Yes, let your insecurity's flow. Tell us all about them.

Am 24. Bought the car a year ago. I am the second owner. Closing on a house within the next month or so. Parents are piss poor and I haven't lived with them in about 5 years.
Dads also a peace of shit who married someone 1/3rd his age.

But this is the internet. You got me! You obviously know me so well! Good one!

>underrated
>posts a Golf with an Audi badge

ok

Ya the virtual cockpit is sick

I think I'll move to Porsche, but not for a while.

Want to try something lighter.

t. Lifetime used civic driver

>$24k
Wait, what? Am i being memed right now? That's an absolute 86 killer, and that's supposed to be -the- current poorfag hot rocket.

Keep the RS for awhile and try out a BRZ.
They're not the fastest but they're very fun with a manual transmission.

2012+ V6 Mustangs are certainly underrated, especially since the fucking Ecotoot came out. It is undeniably the fastest, best looking, best handling, most powerful car you can get NEW for that money.

Shame they'll no longer be offering it. It's just a heinously expensive V8 (as God intended), or the plebshit cunt fuck makes me angry just thinking about it Ecotoot.

Also, 370z doesn't get enough recognition. Yes it's a bit heavier, but ALL fucking cars are heavy unless they're some underpowered piece of shit like the Toyobaru or they're some boutique space age carbon fibre toy like a Lotus.

370z is still RWD with plenty of power, nice weight balance, proper MT, and it's a beautiful coupe.

>sports car
>audi tt

Pick one

>rebadged golf
>overpriced
>understeering
>unreliable
>gets rekt by a 4C

Pick all

I've never driven one but I've sat in a few and loved them. They have very pleasant, spacious interiors with great visibility. I was considering a mk1 back in the day but unfortunately they have the same 'gay' stigma here as miata, beetle, mini, fiat 500.

>Rebadged Golf

VW Golf uses a 1.8 4cylinder TDI engine
The TT uses a 2.0 4 cylinder twin trubo TFSI 8J engine

Golf is a family car
TT is a sports coupe

Golf has a ~7.5 second 0-60 times
TT (base) has a 5 second 0-60 time

~avg 55k for a sports coupe with arguably some of the best interior features and reasonable 0-60 times all stock and decent handling is overpriced?

How's it feel to be a poorfag?

Also, the 4C is a better car when it comes to the Audi TT. Nobody would argue that. It's also about 1,000 pounds lighter.
But in the TT's defense, I wouldn't use a 4C as a daily driver.

>fwd based awd
>55k for fwd.
>stay mad

Yes, the 86 was both more expensive and slower than the base v6 with the perfomance package, even motortrend prove it 3 years ago.
