I think Rey is kind of a Mary Sue. She shows up and she's mysteriously good at everything. Like she's instantly a top class fighter, uses the force better than Luke did at the same stage, and is even almost as good a pilot as Han. She even beats Kylo Ren on her first try. If you think about it, she basically has no flaws or weaknesses, personality or otherwise. I mean sure she might come from some powerful lineage but I think the fact that she's so "perfect" actually makes her kind of boring.
