My sorcerer keeps starting some spell, then is interrupted, then starts another spell, then decides to do something else.
My sorcerer is the only one capable of doing aught to enemies.

Ah, I think they were able to mess around with model numbers, some other sort of messing with the game.
Think they found out the game just plugs that character's model into those scenes, and put in the one for the pawn.
I-I could be wrong, but that's why I asked.

I'm using the second best longbow of the game, dragonforged, and not higher because the required material drops from the saurian in the area in question, and I'm almost lv100.

You're not creating enough space for your sorc, and they have enchants instead of damage

What skills are you using? Everyone talks about how great 5fold and 10fold are but you need to be able to pierce enemy defense first since they're a bunch of weak hits spread out. Strong single hit stuff like a perfect charge deathly arrow should be doing fine. Don't expect to do damage to wraiths though, even with enchants.

And just to be clear, perfect charge requires releasing at the moment the charge completes. That skill is garbage if you don't perfect charge.

10fold and the one with the zoom. I forget I even have the one with charging set as well.
I kind of do some damage to saurians with the zooming one, but it wastes almost a couple of stamina bars overall, and I need distance.

The ability is basically a sniper rifle, it zooms a lot it becomes impractical on short-to-medium distances.

Yes. If playing as a melee it blinds you any time it's cast. Not quite as annoying if you play ranged, but can still cause some issues. Maelstrom is best used before an encounter to clear out all the trash, but pawns are incapable of using it until combat actually begins.

What the other guy said. Also it deals dark damage, which is useless for endgame areas (BBI and Everfall).

Try moving your save file somewhere else to see if it might be the culprit.

Oh boy, do I have the autism strats that you need.

>walk directly into him. You will be immune to his opening sleep spell, giving you time to fully charge the arc

You can't actually deal damage fast enough to keep him stunlocked until he dies. Eventually he'll teleport out because Arc takes too long to charge. But after a couple encounters, he will go down finally. And more importantly, this strategy makes Death a non-issue for warriors.
