Colonize it with a smaller army. It wall take half the "men" of each unit in your army. Don't use your big army because you need to show strenght. AI is more likely to declare war on you if your one big army is full of really wounded units in the early game.

No, it's an you're Otomo chilling on your island while building up the armies when the Date from the other end of the world come out of the fog of war, declare war and drop an army 3 turns of movement behind you.

It's a your military ally declares war on you and moves into your territory the moment you move out of your province episode.

Seriously fuck shogun 2 ai they go out their way to fuck you, thankfully the ai hate is so bad at combat that you can literally just stand in a line and kill each unit 1 by 1 with archers.

Its up there as one of the best total war titles, combat is best it's been but campaign map is not as good as Attila or shogun.

Literally the only good thing about the Chaos campaign is getting to play as Kholek. Everything else is easily the worst out of all the factions. If they're not going to fix it, they should have just stuck to their idea of making them unplayable.

No need to get all the DLC, just get what's interesting for you, everything you don't buy will be on the campaign anyways.

it seems like everyone hates the way DLC is being handled though
and with mixed reviews on steam, it's all very disconcerting

the dlc plan is like every total war since empire/napoopan(so jewey as fuck ofc) all dlc shit even if you don't buy it will be in your grand campaign, so only buy what you want to use.

the only mandatory really is blood and gore.

I'd honestly say the steam reviews are from salty faggots, best total war, even if like every game it takes 6 steps forward in a few areas, and 5 back in others.

Most of the mixed reviews come from chaos, something that's considered pretty fucking important for a warhammer game, being preorder content
Its all jewish as fuck but most of it at least feels pretty worthwhile. They're still pumping out the occasional free DLC and Bretonnia's getting a free release soon so that can help you out if you're not willing to pay any more

I have no idea, honestly. I'm doing a campaign with it right now, but I they don't even have a proper changelog so I can't tell the differences with factions I haven't played.

I am, but I'm pretty sure it causes garrison fuckery. EP doesn't change the units at all, I believe.

I play it with EP and FoTE, because they're now built to be played together since EP's last patch. They work pretty seamlessly together, basically DEI lite for Attila.
The only thing I'd recommend is that you get the English names patch for them both, because theres only so much latin names I can take before things start to meld together.
