Camaro has far superior driving dynamics. Mustang literally only has visibility.

Sure, the Camaro doesn't have the pleb-tier assists like automatic braking, but I prefer it that way.
With the Mustang, you need to step up to the Shelby GT350 to get the chassis comparable to the Camaros, and by that price point, the Camaro ZL1 blows it away.

Classic isn't the same thing as classy. All someone thinks when you roll by in a 69 Mustang is that you may or may not have a Cialis in the glove box.

1st out of principal, Ford didn't have to borrow a chassis from an Australian counterpart to make it.

2nd comfort. As someone who has worked for a Chevy dealership and has driven hundreds of Camaros they are absolutely a bitch to sit in, they aren't comfortable and unless you're a manlet you will never have enough head room. I have never ever had head room problems in any mustang. My height is 64 for reference.

And 3rd reason. You could hide the fucking death star in a Camaros blind spots. they are absolutely impossible to see out of. I have never had sight problems out of a mustang.

I'd take the Mustang. I don't really like camaro's. No real reason behind it. I just like the Mustang more.

For those who the visibility is a turnoff they weren't committed to buying a Camaro anyway and for those who were most excited about the car completely changing it the exterior design would've put off the only core buyers they had. Not as Iconic as the Mustang and doesn't have the Badge of a BMW so they had to be mindful not to piss off their buyer base.

Basically they were damned if they do damned if they don't.

Mustang. If I have to drive through a big city the visibility would make me very nervous. Also the Mustang has more trunk space so it's a better daily.

Sadly that seems so. although it could be that the fifth gen Camaro already attracted an audience for that design after the Camaro had been all but gone for almost ten years and when they brought it back in 2010 they had to market it and the Transformers Movies centainly helped. They ligitimately overlooked the visibility flaws and offered to fix it in the later generation only to realize that design was already recognizable by their audience and changing it would mean trying to build up market for what looks like a completely different car.

Mustang hasn't really slipped production for so long so its market didn't die off like the Camaro.

You most likely are. unfortunately the majority who usually go for the badge (and to be honest the Mustang badge has some significant meaning to people even across the globe) dictate what gets produced and what doesn't. if the Camaro didn't make a comeback when it did it probably would've been far too late to attract any buyers even with good visibility and everything else people could want since people only want what the cool kids are driving and we probably wouldn't have got this godly chassis since GM would've assumed there just wasn't enough interest and that's a shame.

I'll go with the mustang gt because i like visibility i sat in the camaro and hate the tiny windows bunker style view made me feel claustrophobic, the mustang is the better dd but if you care about speed going fast go with the camaro
