why are you using the life ring instead of the prisoner's chain at that level? Why are you using the life ring at all? With only 13 vig the life ring multiplier doesn't even add 5 levels worth of health, you may as well use the hunter's ring then drop down five points of dex to add five vig. And you're probably better off using rouge instead of flame arc.

this is level eight, and it's got 200 more HP than yours. That's like an extra third almost, more than enough to compensate for the prisoner's chain penalty. If you want to use the prisoner's chain just replace the knights ring I put in and add 5 dex. You could even replace the ring of favor since this build also has more endurance than yours even without it.

beats me if I've got the best infusion for the curved sword, mugenmonkey only shows AR at +10

Hollow isn't for better AR. It's for getting better buildup without completely gimping your damage. Very few weapons actually benefit more from hollow

get a flamburger and use carthus buff on it. hollow builds are only good for bleed builds.

Can confirm these are fun. They manage to be underpowered and overpowered at the same time. The whole combat system becomes odd when you can initiate combat at nearly any range while still doing less damage than melee in general.

This is the one that pissed me off the most. Beyond just fighting people and getting in their way, part of what I liked in demon/ds1 invasions was the idea that you're actively hunting down other players in order to benefit yourself, either with the invasion rewards or the covenant reward.

DS2 has no reward for invasions (not even getting humanity back when it copied lots of other demons mechanics) and the covenant levels up by honorable 1v1 dueling exclusively when being an honorable dickwraith was already something done with the red sign soapstone (which the brotherhood of blood even sells, so it's not like DS1 where you have to stumble into painted world to get that shit)

It's just lame. If I wanted fair and balanced 1v1 fighting I'd play a fighting game
