He'll always be slow. He's powerful for stunning units, AoE, and dealing heavy amounts of magic damage, which many top-tier units don't want to take.
High mobility, can either slaughter anything without solid res or cripple them if he can't kill a threat. Also free revenge kill on enemy ranged units who can't 1shot him.

Camilla is a great Mage tank despite Wyrvens historically bad Res growths.
She shines the most if you can give her speed attack buffs since she's balanced around her Brave Axe.
