What new cars will be cult classics in the future, like the ae86 and miata are now?

What new cars will be cult classics in the future, like the ae86 and miata are now?

My guess is pic related and the toyobaru.

>if we even have self driven cars still

good lad.

I agree with the RS. I saw one outside at work and it was gorgeous. Only negative I can find is that all that shitty plastic on the front end will look like fucking shit after 10 years.

wow queen youre so skrong

...

The Focus ST has a lot of classic fast forefathers, from Lotus Cortinas to Cosworth Escorts so it wouldn't surprise me anyway

Nice dad hatch

I don't own one (op), just seems like a car that enthusiasts will like in the future.

you're a dad hatch

Eh, the few times I've seen them in person at meets and stuff, I haven't been that impressed. It'll be interesting to see long-term reliability and power gain results with them though, and how well they hold their value.

It's one of the worst 'hey-look-at-me-and-my-car" cars out there right now, and still just a focus. I can somewhat understand since I remember how I used to feel when I'd see a WRX STi around town back in 2004-2005.

It just doesn't do it for me.

>t. Fiesta ST driver

As for answering the OP question, S2000, E46 M3, C5 Corvette, are all approaching that territory rapidly.

You killed him dead

MANS NEVER BEEN IN TESCOS WHEN ITS SHUT DOWN.

>B-but 350 hp affordable hatch
If my calculations are correct, this is Veeky Forums's dream car.

Affordable? I haven't seen one for less than 37k and from what little time I've spent on Veeky Forums so far, I don't think it's that affordable.

evo x - because last one
sti - because sti
gti - same reason
r35 - because drama

My dad is a typical boomer who fawns over Bel Airs and he's convinced the BRZ is going to be a dream car 50 years from now.

probably also the Abarth 500 and the Neo-Nu-Beetle Turbo

335i. It will continue to get cheaper. JB4 and down pipes is easy power. The block can handle way way more stock too. Big single turbo's will be more common and may even become the norm. It will be kinda like the Supra. Not as badass or legendary, but it will be the next big tuner car do to potential and price to performance ratio. The motor can take so much, the only thing putting a damper on the reliability are the fuel pump and turbos.

its underpowered and relatively light, like the car they based it on.

I can definetly see it becoming a cult car in 20 to 30 years

>tfw focus SE owner

I wish mine had a turbo and AWD

>overheats within 15 minutes on a track
>gimmicky autistic drift mode which doesn't even work
>literally over $40k for a focus
>garbage tier interior

why wouldn't you use that money to buy a well maintained evo 9 (((for less $$$))) which will shit all over the new turbo 4 awd shitboxes being marketed today

No you dont.
It would be broken more often than im sure yours already is.

cheby ss
cobalt ss/tc
e39 m5
e60 m5
na miata
viper
1st and 2nd gen elise

My focus is flawless. Fuck off

Why didnt they get a camaro which is better in every aspect??? Even a mustang.

ATS-V, especially if they continue to sell poorly and only do one generation.

You can always tell ford owners have a low IQ because of how easily angered they are about their shitbox.
>most complained about car of 2016
Ford focus

Twingo

Track-focused muscle cars like the GT350R and ZL1/Z28

Or they deflect onto chebby

Maybe in the future when production stops and boy races crash them all. A la 240sx

none because outdated electronics will make them unusable

Mostly analog

>complained car
>Ford Sync 1/2
Yeah that sounds about right

Complaints were
>transmissions
>brakes
>cluthes
>electronics in general
Sync was included too

Fiesta ST probably will be its cheap and fast enough that it will probably rival the miata in terms of casual sport drivers wanting one.

What the fuck? Maybe cause you don't want people to barf when they see your gross car and then laugh at your piece of shit. (Mustang is ok compared to Camaro though)
