I was out with some friends who helped me put new tires on my car

Because after finishing with the tires I went home because my car was still having issues. I then was at a light and a cop pulled up behind me, green light goes and lights go up. I pull over into a church near my house. Comes up to me and asks for the usual. my cars registration has been out for the year because its been parked due to bad tires and can't pass emissions and the only reason I was out was to put the new tires on it. Right as I hand my him drivers license and tell him it's not insured and not registered for the year my thermostat pops and coolant goes everywhere. After going to his truck I sit there just wondering the heck am I going to do. He comes back, hands me my license and tells me he was going to give me a ticket for no insurance but because he clearly sees I have other issues he let me off with a warning.

Thanks. Thankfully the place my buddies did my tires at was only 3 miles from my house and I got pulled over two blocks from my house and the church I pulled into had a towing sign up. so he let me drive home.
The guy was really friendly, I asked if I could get out and check the car and he told me to wait a moment so I did while he went back to check my stuff. came back with his flash light and checked the car with me, asked if he could be of any assistance to me and I told him I had plenty of coolant at the house and it was really close anyways, maybe a 10th of a mile so he just let me out. I told him he could follow me home if he wanted to make sure, told me it wasn't necessary and went ahead and left before me.
