So far this is the best car I've ever owned, and no I didn't buy it new

>inb4 FWD lel

>VAG thread on Veeky Forumstism

oh boy here we go...

>tuning a GTI

You are just ruining a good car

But user-san, vroom vroom racecar gotta go fast

>no I didn't buy it new
Finally a real thread
Do the GTI's have cylinder deactivation as well?

not that I'm aware of, honestly that sounds kinda silly in a 4 cylinder turbo

>bought a fwd cuckbox
>wanting to go fast
Should've gotten a Mustang gt.

Tell that to the new Fiesta ST kek

Don't like big cars friendo, and I would get a camaro over the memetang if I was in the market

And you'd crash because no visibility.

>believing the meme

You should try actually driving cars user

>mustang
>big car
lol wtf

>doesn't think mustang is big

found the pigfat

pretty sure a 300hp golf will go round a track faster than a mustang gt

wouldn't surprise me, GTI is 700 pounds lighter than a mustang GT

Maybe its just the bluemotion, but they are all TSI now anyway?
MK7 is when they introduced it

>buys some cuckbox people mover
>realizes later on he wants to be a car enthusiast
>dumps money into it making it even shittier and unreliable
>justifies it on Veeky Forums and gets upset when people tell him he fucked up
Why do people always do this?

alternative facts, people buy into an industry built on stupidity because its what they want to believe in rather than thinking logically.

Oh gosh user you're right, where have I gone wrong? What god like enthusiast machine do you drive master

It's almost as if I didn't want a pure sports car because I can only afford one car :0000000

>nearly 190 in long and 4000lb with the V8

It's a fucking boat m8.

according to this I´d take a fake enthusiast over a brz hating benchracer EVERY DAY ALL DAY

No clue honestly, 95% sure my car doesn't have that feature. might be euro only or for this years refresh

Cargo shorts probably the hardest one to admit.

But you can't drift the gti.

3500lbs. Not light but also not 4000lbs

It's OK user, cargo shorts are mandatory for where I live when it's summer

What you got against the BRZ?
As Daily Driver without the need for raw power its quite good.

I really like mine OP, just the regular 1.8 tho.

I've had APR's intake and 93 tune since about 2k miles (about 36k on it now).

Makes a fun little daily. Its my first hatch and I'm amazed at the amount of shit I can fit in the back.

the only sticker is my gym parking pass

I own a mk7 scirocco :) a tune is highly recommended. It just wakes the car up.

I had a nice 50hp + 100lbs torque increase :)

oh yes, all my friends who sit inside the car exclaim how much space it has for a small car.

Pretty sure you can get 300hp golfs from the factory with the uprated internal materials needed to make it last.

Not in the US unfortunately, aside from the golf R which was twice the price I paid for my GTI.

I'm confident the engine will be fine, the clutch on the other hand...

OP, is your MK7 6MT or DSG?

APR Stage 1 flash will put the car right around the 300whp mark and like 360-370wtq. If you have a manual, you'll need a clutch. DSG is fine.

I've been tuned maybe 20k miles on mine, feels like a completely different car, would recommend. Have an APR VW Stealership tune your car and you'll keep your warranty.

TT-RS clutch kit goes in it next week. Other car has been getting all the love recently.

Set money aside for a new clutch in 10k miles

...

6 Speed Manuel, I'm going with unitronic since I'm going straight to stage 2.

I already have the money for the beefier clutch saved but I'm gonna get some life outta the stock one (maybe)

Nice man, wish I could've gotten Carbon Steel but white is alright.

I need dem euro tails doe, are those OEM or ching chong?
