Swingtimers work correctly even on cMANGOS. People keep memeing about Crestfall 2017 when they don't even have class mechanics working or god forbid actual scripting of quests, NPCs, raids and dungeons.

This is why you say you want to do a full quest run when you look for group.

They finished all the dungeons up to BWL back in November, and the quests on Kalimdor and Azeroth back in October

Most of the scripting has been done for a long time now, read the old dev posts

That Warlock one is atrocious.

You should first beeline Imp. Drain Soul and then switch over to demo for Imp. VW, then go back into Afflic until SM.

The reason for this is Imp. Drain Soul will keep your shards up and help you regain mana faster, meaning faster leveling.

By the time you get the Improved Voidwalker it'll be at a point where the VW is going to start to struggle to hold aggro. Having that talent (and being an orc, technically) will allow it to hold aggro much better.

Once you hit SM, keep going into demo and pick up Fel Intellect so your VW can maintain mana better. Anything else is really up to you, but Fel Concentration is going to do you better than Imp. CoA and Life Tap

Improved Drain Soul is worthless because you don't stack Spirit while leveling, which means the regeneration is minimal. Also, it has an even lower chance to proc in a group than just solo because Drain Soul has to be the tick that kills the mob to proc.

Improved Voidwalker is worthless because the Voidwalker begins to lose aggro once you start stacking Shadow gear, which generally doesn't happen until Shadoweave becomes available starting at level 37. By level 33, you have Fel Concentration maxxed so even if you do slip past the aggro range you won't get fucked up for it.

Fel Intellect has such a minor buff that it only adds one extra Torment, which is awful for the talent investment.

No. Even without spirit gear it's a noticeable increase. You get a mob to low, call back your VW and last hit it to proc it. It's easy as fuck and if you can't even micromanage your VW you need to play a different class.

Don't put every fucking DOT on every mob you fight, jackass. You should use Corruption and Siphon Life only, reapplying corruption as needed, meanwhile wanding the target. This means you will stay mana efficient the entire time and at minimal risk of your VW breaking aggro. If you spike a mob down of course it's going to attack you.

It's a PvP talent and amazingly helpful in most regards. Pre-60 when a warrior comes up to you and you have 5/5 Fel Concentration you can literally nullify most of his attacks. Mortal Strike doesn't effect life drain.

So you put points instead into Improved Imp, Improved Shadowbolt and Bane? I'll agree that it's not a fantastic talent, but it helps your uptime.

Depends on your goal. Shadowmeld Aimed Shot, having your pet be a second player, and hard-countering every class is pretty great, but so is Fear chains, soulstones, and Infernals.
