The Many uses of Tanuki Scrotum edition

>Little things to know

Your amrita counter turns gold when you have enough to level up.

If you're going to sell your gear, break it down first and sell the materials because they are worth more.

Using spirit stones will charge your spirit weapon.

>What should I do with the armour/weapons I don't want/use?
Purple/Blue = Disassemble (Then use the blue mats to forge a purple if you have enough)
Yellow/White = Sell or you can give it to the kodamas for amrita and the odd free item.

>What does the summoning candle do?
It returns your guardian spirit to you when you die along with the amrita you collected, this saves time running back to your grave and also takes away the risk of losing all your amrita before you reach your grave

>Should I use soul match?
Honestly, no, not unless you have basically finished the game and have a weapon with some really great stats. As you progress you will get a steady flow of new weapons and armour that is better than what you have. Don't waste your money on soul matching until later.

>Why do people keep mentioning "smithing texts"?
Bosses tend to drop pieces of their armour when you defeat them, these pieces are good but they often require investment into skill or strength etc. Very rarely they will drop a smithing text which allows you to forge their armour/weapon. This is a great advantage because your forged gear has lower requirements and you don't have to farm the boss all the time for more pieces.

>How do I join a clan?
It unlocks as you progress, everything will be daijoubu.

>Which clan should I join?
Whichever one has a bonus that you think will benefit your build the most. Don't worry if the clan you chose is on the losing side (red or blue team), we've learnt this week that clans can change colour if one is dominating too much.

>It's objectively Mujina-chan
First for YES

First for Mujina are badgers

Is there anything a tanuki can't do with their balls?

Fuku

Anyone know if you can get an inheritable "reduced damage taken (critical)" skill on divine armor? I've yet to see it, but I've seen many other things be transferable.

When referring to the Yokai and not the actual animal, mujina and tanuki are interchangeable names which vary by region.

make a Host smart enough to not attack them

Can't eat them

i like 1kat a lot, but can't decide what to use with it

i also don't really know what weight of armor to go with

Proficiency bonus = faster proficiency gain for equipped weapon?

I always attack them, I get garbage items when I don't.

good job retard you're stopping yourself from getting gestures

Why are there Japs posting screenshots of weapons with 2000 damage and level 320? Do the nips know of something that we don't?

Tanuki legendarily used their shapeshifting powers for the sole purpose of making people look like fools, so I'd say their balls are achieving their intended goal.

Yes, that's all proficiency is, what else would a bonus do?

i've already got both gestures.

Wow, Oda, Kelley, Yamata were a real awful series of bosses. I get why the former were easy, but the latter was basically "fight these colored turrets while the others take pot shots at you lol" Please tell me that's not the actual last boss cause I'm watching the credits right now.

No.

Could mean higher proficiency = more damage.

only the first couple of mujina give you gestures for responding

Does the Legendary Strategists smithing text drop in way of the warrior adept?

Eh wished his armor in game had less bling and more like the real life design.

Then it'd probably say Proficiency Damage Bonus. It also tells you what it does if you press the options button.

Tips for beating the master onymo dojo mission? I don't even use onymo magic, I was just doing it for the sake of being a completionist, should I even bother with it? This shit is just absurd compared to the master ninja mission.

they're still peaceful
you'd kill a peaceful treasure badget just because you can? disgusting.

Were tanuki nutsack artists the sengoku equivalent of Chris-chan?

I'd kill a trickster spirit for being a cheeky cunt

No, just a bunch of honorobu drunks who found a spirit animal with huge nuts hilarious.

Also whatever the fuck is going on in this one.

>Headbutts me with its balls when I'm just looking for treasure
>He a good badger he dindu nuffin

None of these paintings were serious and were made for comedy.

>the black guy calls his master a dindu

Pottery

that's not the actual last boss

>twilight way of the strong umi bozu

literal fucking cancer. never doing it again

>you enter its domain and try to steal from its home
>its in the wrong for not even getting angry, and then trying to be nice to you
gas all the humans race war when

Save everything for the nue. You can easily kill the other shit with no damage. And hit the nue in the ribs, it'll break his ki when it's fully lit up.

Obviously they neede a sumo ring and sumo underpants. Geez.

guess they'll need food and vendor stands like any other sporting event...

Looks like a dance-off

I liked oda and kelly fights, I thought orochi was cool but kinda boring to fight.

Are tanuki the ancient Japanese meme?

Should I bother with the ninja and onmyo training things that require 10?

I'm almost there statwise but don't wanna waste points for a hybrid build if I can't get good shit. Im more of a physical build but I am interested in magic ando ninjutsu.

No way. You think so?

Great for getting swole too.

>its domain
>its home
Those treasure chests belong to the daimyo of their respective holds and as such belong to me by right of them being my allies or being guys I've killed. Deport illegal mujina. Build testiwalls.

True memes never die.
Yea but then they get all sweaty and you gotta take them to the cleaners.

say that to your own fucking face in a twilight mission and not online and see what happens

>waste points
>build
Stop. If you're still so early on that you're considering the basic onmyo and ninja training, you're nowhere near close enough to be caring about these things that mean borderline nothing in this game.

Work towards specialised sets in the endgame. Not when you're still pissing around in the first few areas.

man when are we getting tanuki scrotom general vs the sims deathmatch over the tag?

When to start worrying about respec? On third region and respec like 3 times already...

Fuck you its 1 am and i should be lauging this loud.

For someone who can't see spirits, Hanzo was rather calm about having a gigantic frog as his teacher.

so you can make mimics naked

Post-game unless you're seriously gimping yourself with being unable to equip shit.

My understanding is only a handful of people can see Guardian Spirits but every man and his dog can see Yokai. Hanzo's seen some shit, but not all the shit.

half of the places the chests are in are uninhabited and reclaimed by nature/bandits. They have much right to the treasure chests as you do the treasure inside.

Diversify as much as you want/can. There's too many useful skills in both trees that aren't worth ignoring for the sake of pride or "builds".

Gotta stay dry as well!

Gamabunta probably wasn't a toad during his life

supposedly you'd have to defeat the lv310 twilight to gain the "chance" of dropping or forging one (or lv200 for lv190 gear)

Still have seen ZERO video evidence, so I don't care if they have thousands of pictures, if not a single video is made, I'm skeptical.

He didn't know catto was a Nekomata, so he's got justifiable ignorance.

post weapons

>lv 320
how?

I acquired one of the japanese only magazine helmets a couple days ago, the Visitor's Dragon Kabuto.
Unfortunately, I cannot refashion my current helmet to it for whatever reason, and it's level 93 purple rarity so it's worthless

lol yea, can't fucking do it, maybe if I respecced into a magic build instead of having the bare minimum 20 magic, I don't want to waste the books though

>reclaimed by nature/bandits
And they're my chests by right of murdering the fuck out of those bandits and that nature. Go cry into oversized ballsack over it.

Forgot my balls.

...

>can't beat it
You do know your weapons right? Onyudo is entirely worth the sloth but christ sake know your weapons

>you will never have a cool pipe-smoking frog dad

>it's a "Revenant has all purples but one yellow and they only drop the yellow" episode

>Sitting in the rain under your own nutsack, trying to sell shit
But why

never gonna hurt a majina again

Are all mystic arts specific to their weapon, including the axe and 2kat ones that don't specifically state it?

>In all ways but physical, I am a master shinobi
>[grabs opponent with massive tongue]

Which Kusarigama is objectively the best? As in which one should I stick to and level up? Also where do I get the +1 divine items? I've just started the way of the strong. Do they just drop?

So is Axe officially the least OP weapon?

Enough to get through the whole game without visitors, and never dying more than 3 times to any boss

This shit is just insane though, probably could get it eventually, just isn't worth it if I'm not even doing a onymo build

as crazy as this sounds i think it might be 1kat

Axe is way easier to punish than 1kat and the low stance hits don't stagger.

Just keep doing stuff and eventually they'll drop.

+1's just drop (not revenants), or, my method for quick +1's if I found one is just forging them. Kill revenants to stockpile lots of fragments, dissemble them, then forge whatever. 49/51 chance of getting a divine, which has a chance to be +1.

Forging cost is like 2k or something for armor.

How the fuck do these people get over 100k+ glory on the leaderboard at the start of the war?

Which 1kat and 2kat skills are important to get asap?

The ones that let me do the l1+triangle and square shit and the triangle after a combo shit? (After grapple and the other shared shit among all weapons of course)

mad cheatz bro

Mujina's gotta make a living otherwise him and his family gotta live inside his nutsack. Which is obviously possible but not preferable.

Man, caltrops are useful. It's like a mini sloth that I don't feel bad about using.

Coincidentally they're extremely useful for that, so the joke's on you.

for 2kat god of wind, sign of the cross, tempest (the thing where you spin like a top in place)

for 1kat kick and maybe sword ki, the high stance combo follow up where you do a sonic flip forward, the low stance follow up where do you do a leaping attack, and eventually iato

in both cases parries as appropriate

I haven't done the master onmyo mission yet, what's so hard about it?

What's a good build if I'm running Katana+Dual swords with a primary focus on the former?

SMITHING TEXTS ARE THE WORSE THINGS EVER

I'm level 38 with 10 in each stat exactly. Am I stupid or is this fine for now?

I can't decide what I like.

Have fun fighting Nue with wooden weapons and 1 sloth talisman

this is false info axe does nothing for other wepaons

What's best way to get otani set in divine

You make your primary focus the latter and go skill.

Damn, that's some Korean tier upgrading. Also, how do you use divine fragments for reforging?

Skill us the offensive stat, will give good damage on both and increase Ki regen speed

it's easy, nue goes down quickly when you put water status on it.

I reckon I could do it. I know the key to Nue.

It absolutely does just the final hit either never happens or its unnoticeable.
Also its sheath buffs can be kept when you switch weapos.

the mystic arts do nothing test yourself
