Current solution is to switch to Luma or better yet, install a9lh per the guide. -hblauncher_loader 1.3 and new *hax 2.9a payloads fix Homebrew for 11.3. github.com/yellows8/hblauncher_loader/releases/tag/v1.3 -NTR CFW 3.4 Preview6 and BootNTR 3.1 released. Asking again. Anything good added to the Luma Nightlies yet?
Luis Cook
Reminder that DS ROM loading from SD was not worth waiting for
Parker White
Followed the a9lh + Luma guide, and everything seemed to go well.
I can't boot into Luma3DS though, system settings always shows I'm in sysnand. I tried switching between autoboot sysnand in luma settings but it doesn't seem to change anything (even when holding L). I was on 11.2 then updated to 11.3 after I had set up everything. Luma version is 6.6
Anyone know why it keeps booting sysnand?
Isaac Phillips
That's normal EmuNAND is deprecated by A9LH
Nathan Ramirez
Thats what's supposed to happen.
Brody Gutierrez
You're telling me your system settings says"sys" in the version string? Because that means you're in Luma you idiot. Why would Nintendo identify whether you were in sysnand or not
Isaac James
Oh if you updated to 11.3 in emunand on an old version of Luma, your emunand is probably corrupted beyond saving. If you actually read the guide though you'd know you can move your old emunand to your sysnand if it wasn't destroyed (it was)
Dylan Mitchell
Got homebrew and everything installed on my n3ds, it's okay to update it now, right? Just making sure.
Bentley Ward
If by "homebrew" you mean a9lh+Luma, yes
James Smith
Possibly. Do you know of a decent one?
Parker Perry
Holy fuck nevermind they seem to cost into the $400. if i had $400 id just buy a n3ds
Nolan Rodriguez
Is the emunand and sysnand linked? I set a black background once and both share it.
I assumed the Luma setting "show nand or user string in system settings" would show emu before the version number.
Joseph Cook
Anybody know where I can buy a replacement back for a 3DSXL?
The part that holds the screws on fucking snapped because it's made of paper, and now it's kind of wobbly
Parker Sullivan
You shouldn't have an emunand at all
Jackson Stewart
We don't use emunand anymore, see It's probably been destroyed, but if you follow the guide, you can try to copy it to sysnand if it wasn't
Luke Allen
I'm being told that after the homebrew process you can delete a bunch of stuff, can someone tell me what's safe to get rid of? My fucking card is almost full.
Austin Murphy
You never set up emunand
Eli Jones
guide tells you right there at the end of it
Blake Torres
I'm running a9lh + Luma. is installing NTR CFW going to cause any problems with my system? I like Luma + a9lh and hourglass9 but I see NTR has some features not included in other bootloaders.
TLDR: will NTR CFW mess with a9lh + Luma?
Dominic Sanchez
No, because you run it on top of Luma when you need the things it offers.
Oliver Lewis
you don't install it you install the cia which runs the cfw ontop of whatever you have
Dominic Flores
fuck you mean was? we're still waiting you daft cunt
Grayson Wood
There's been like 6 releases now
Carter Stewart
and you still can't play 80% of games so again, we're still waiting
Brody Lopez
so just follow the direction at the end of the Luma + a9lh guide and I should be good?
David Fisher
Does anyone have a torrent/gdoc link for #FE patched USB ready?
This goddamn Mega download refuses to download it without corrupting, everytime.
Charles Lee
that's my point
it was not worth waiting for because the compatibility and performance are inherently shit
Austin Gutierrez
yes
Joshua Morales
I know but I've been using it for a while and there's a bunch of other shit in there that I don't want to risk screwing up my system / saved by messing with.
Carter Wright
until we get 99% compatibility we're still waiting so shut up
I have my romcart anyway
Josiah Nelson
>Thinking it will ever get past 50% compatibility
Eli Perry
>"this thing that's still being worked on isn't perfect yet, so it isn't worth waiting for!"
Adam Ortiz
everything that is not on that list is safe to delete, seeing what you have there's nothing really necessary to delete other than the .cias if you already installed them up to you to delete stuff you don't use
Jayden Young
>It is technically infeasible for the thing being worked on to be any good, so it isn't worth waiting for
Leo Perry
retards updating to 11.3 lol
Hunter Hernandez
jokes on you i buy my 3ds games
Benjamin Diaz
Just in case any of you were thinking of updating polygon.com/2017/2/15/ 14627922/playstation-now-discontinued-ps3-vita-tv
Lincoln Collins
>Playstation Now support ending on the only platforms where it mattered I don't get it
William Taylor
Does NTR streaming still work on 11.3?
I've been playing with an XB1 controller and using KitKat so I don't know if I should update my 3DS yet...
I tried installing th enew version of HBL on my N3ds. It says the ropbin is good then crashes with an error.
Daniel Bennett
nvm. for anybody else, it's a luma issue not a hbl issue. you have to shut off the n3ds clock in luma. or update luma if there's a serviceable update.
Logan Rogers
I have a o3DS with 11.2 emunand + luma 6.6
Is it safe for updating to 11.3 or this will fuck up my emunand?
And in case I can access my emunand: can I still use Homebrew .cia that I installed (FreeShop, JKSM, etc) when updating to 11.3?
John Gutierrez
I've heard conflicting reports about emunands booting
Gavin Roberts
ok. haven't touched my 3ds in a while and i know its at 11.2 and has the latest a9lh. do i update this shit>
Jaxson Jenkins
go for it. hbl and everything has been updated accordingly.
Nicholas Martin
Is it worth hacking my wii u to get ready for the new zelda, or will there most definitely be an update as it launches making it all pointless? wonder if a 16gb card will be big enough for it
Austin Gomez
You can if you want to, but you don't need to yet.
Nathan Thomas
polish the crystal ball
Lucas Morales
Switch to A9LH + SysNAND
Logan Hernandez
well. it's not working and I don't know why.
It tell's me that I have an "unknown FIRM" then it dumps and says it couldn't install because of the unknown firm.
Hudson Flores
Is it possible to use Nintendont with a Wiimote+Nunchuk or the Wii U Gamepad? Or do I have to use a Pro Controller?
Noah Martinez
How do I go about upgrading the CFW on my 3ds... I think I have some verson of Cakes from the summer... I want to play the NDS roms on my 3ds.
Leo Thompson
buy a flashcard
Dylan Wright
Doesn't TWloader work for this?
Samuel King
Flashcard for stability.
Kayden Johnson
It's terrible and barely works
Anthony Ward
Luma 6.6 works fine with 11.3 emuNAND because Aurora's actually not a retard.
Landon Morgan
Pic related.
I probably should update my CFW though right? I tried googling shit. but can't find any guidelines. How do I even find out what version I'm on? My firmware is 10.7
Lucas Lee
nintendont can use pretty anything except solo wiimote and gamepad
Xavier Anderson
Depends on whether you're using menuhax/emunand or a9lh/sysnand mainly
David James
Just do the guide. It's so easy thanks to fasthax and safehax.
Connor Sanders
Like Do the whole guide over again? Will it format my SD Card / Lose my save games and crap I have loaded on there? I believe it's sysnand I remember setting up the emunand and then moving it over to sysnand? does that make sense? But I still need my SD card to boot the unit.
Kevin Perry
>But I still need my SD card to boot the unit. The blue light goes on and off by itself if you try to boot without the SD card? Definitely a9lh then. Copy the arm9loaderhax.bin from the latest Luma download to your SD card and you'll be up to date.
Caleb Garcia
Fucking hell psndl is so scarce. Maybe I got spoiled by 3DS titlekeys. Anyone know where I can get Yakuza games in PSN format?
Brody Clark
On Step 4 of the 3DS hacking guide (arm9loaderhax), it is required to "Copy the contents of the SafeA9LHInstaller .7z to the root of your SD card" but the problem is that there is a 3ds folder inside of it. what do I do now? In the step before, I was already required to copy a 3ds folder into the root....
Ian Turner
Merge them, silly
Ayden Perry
just for my stupid ass so I don't brick that shit accidentally: copy the "SafeA9LHInstaller" folder from the 3ds into the already existing one, right?
fuck, I feel like walking on a goddamn thin line right now, jesus
Austin Morales
You won't brick unless you do one of the things outlined on the 2.1 ctrtransfer page.
Yes, you should do that.
Lucas Sullivan
after having done Section 1 of arm9loaderhax, the 3DS load the Home Menu anymore after inserting the SD card and checking the Firmware version, ergo it froze. after turning it off and turning it on successfully, I went to the internet explorer and when I tried to go back to the Home Menu, it froze too
Aiden Edwards
apparently the 3DS doesn't load while the SD card is inserted anymore. what do?
Ryan Lewis
alright, now the 3DS just turns off after starting it immediately (blue light turns on for like a second)....
did I just brick the fucking thing?
Oliver Collins
So, about Wii U, still no offline homebrew launcher without buyin a $7 game I take it?
Kayden Price
Why not just buy it already? Are you waiting for the next FW update?
Zachary Foster
Nope that's normal.
It means it can't find arm9loaderhax.bin on the SD card though.
Julian Rogers
I just followed the next steps (starting the console while holding select + starting console while holding start) and currently Hourglass9 is installing. let's see how that goes
Jaxson Torres
I'm onto you, NoA.
Logan Hughes
you were right. I just continued and it started without a problem right now.
thanks for clarifying dude
Mason Fisher
Let's say a review copy of BotW is shipped early, will we be able to decrypt it and play with the ticket from it? Or is there no need for a ticket with the signature patch/rednand?
Anthony Moore
How long until Switch gets cracked?
Jace Gray
>he doesn't know about rumblehax
Ryan Hall
Couple years before the PS4 gets cfw
Isaac Murphy
No need if the disc is dumped. Isn't this ticket thing just for eshop games?
I followed the 3DS guide and installed everything successfully
how do I play 3ds games now? in which folder do I put the .3ds files (or do I have to use .cia)?
Julian Smith
WHY DOESN'T THE SWITCH HAVE 1080P????????
Jonathan Morgan
Withered Technology
Angel Perez
cia
Easton Cox
What game?
Logan Bennett
Probably irrelevant but where could i sell my Nvidia Shield Portable and how much does it cost used now days? Heard they were discontinued or something
