Exhaust tune wheels tires

LS1 swap

Wider better tires
Exhaust
Cheap tune
Turbo
If any left over BIG WING

>5k
>LS1
5k is minimum for the meme tax

Sell it, buy a p71 and supercharge it

But don't you like turning op?

If you don't like sports cars then this thread is no for you.

you can buy an LS1 for less than 2k AUD.
with 5k you could buy an LS1 and a turbo to fit it.

Cylinder head porting
Neon and cool paintjob with flame

You don't want tyres too wide, it makes it less fun. A bit of slip is best.

IMO
Wheels 8 wide
Tyres
Exhaust inc headers
Tune

harness/mounting, stronger transmission, not even counting the turbo you're getting well in over 5k to get the car to run more than a few thousand miles without braking something. Not even taking in to account weight balancing.

>engine swaps just take setting the engine in the engine bay
>turbo kits just bolt right on and run perfect, no other parts needed
Veeky Forums actually believes this shit

A real ls swap
>wiring
>ecu
>mounts
>ds
>trans adapter
>custom ac lines
>custom trans mount
>custom exhaust
>custom cooling
>custom intake maybe
>upgraded suspension and brakes needed
>all the maintenance parts for the LS to refresh it
And more kids!

Better (not wider) tyres
Catless header (UEL or EL doesn't matter)
E85 Tune
Coilovers

Save the rest for a rainy day

Lets add turbos!
>turbos
>injectors
>intercooler
>dyno tune
>wheels and tires
>boost control
>custom DP
>new custom exhaust
And more chitlin!

>E85 tune
Would this honestly do very much?

No

On boost, SO MUCH. On an NA, no. On boosted higher hp cars we can get another 100-150 whp just with e85 on the dyno. Allows for so much more when tuning.

Cosworth supercharger kit and good tires.

really helps with reducing detonation, so yes for high static compression engines and boost obviously

>JDL or Nameless headers
>Nameless 3" headerback exhaust
>non-shit air filter
>OFT tune
>Bilstein B8s
>Eibach sportline lowering springs
>Whiteline front roll center kit
>Perrin front endlinks + bushings
>25mm front sway
>better tires
then I'll slide it into a wall coz I forgot to upgrade the driver and he's a fat shit

Spoken like someone who's never driven on good tires.

>285/30R18 RE-71R
>18x12 wheels
>Tune to fix the torque dip

No, good tyres are important, but you must match them to the car, if you put something super sticky on a low powered car like this, it doesn't match right.
I swapped the shit stock tyres for RE003s. They're great. Way grippier than the stock tyres but they let me get sideways when I want to

More grip is always better. The only time it isn't is when speed lost from rolling resistance is greater than the speed gained in braking and cornering. So yeah, you probably don't want 14" wide Hoosier slicks in literally gooey R25 compound, but it's practically impossible to go too wide on street tires. Just remember that there's no point in using tires with a section width wider than your wheel's rim width.

shop.weaponsgradeperformance.com/products/wgp-brz06-frs-brz-ls-swap-kit

This plus a crate engine. Die because stock brakes and tires.

>performance valvetrain, pistons and compression for muh revs
>rework stock exhaust to save the cost of a new one
>get a buddy to decrypt ecu and put some pirated tune on it xD
>race suspension
>tyres idk
>the rest if any will be spent on shitty decals and maybe a rocket bunny kit with a BIG WANG

Laser pointers to blind my enemies on the toegay

I dunno dude, are you sure you can't just put it in?

Wheels and tires. Exhaust and tune I think.
Honestly the car is pretty good and being what it is supposed to be. Fun. It will never ever be fast in a cost effective way, so enjoy a tossable fun car.

wider wheels, good set of tyres.

Sell it, buy a civic, and dump the rest into my savings.

>implying a ff will ever be as good as gt86
fuck you and your company that made del sol

give it away for free to some lonley women in their 40's.
use the 5k to buy a miats and supercharge it
probly spend the change on booze and drugs

sell it, and use the that money + the 5k to buy a car that isn't pigshit slow.

Cletus' turd gen roller is better than a fucking 86 boy

Buy bunch of tree air fresheners

keep dreaming.
You allready say some ff shitbox vtec yo is better than an god tier chassis with great controls and just enough power on doriftu tyres all from factory.
While your civic needs a few simple mods to merge highways

Leave it stock, and buy a red WAT sticker for +15hp.

Save the money

>200hp on a good day
>just enough power
Almost had me fooled there

Never said I wanted an ff, just a 2016 1.8l civic to dd. I don't tune, don't mod, and rarely drive much over the speed limit.

I think I've spent around 4k so far. Tein street flex coilovers, SPC rear LCA's, alignment to my spec, 17x9 +35 rpf1s with 245/40 RS3's, single exit catback, OFT. UEL header is next. Idk if I want to turbo it or buy another vehicle. It performs great on track for a beginner. It's got a shit ton of grip and is really neutral, but doesn't have enough power to get a novice in trouble when powering out of a corner. I still have a blast in it so you benchracers can suck a dick.

5k tofu delivery livery/paintjob

I'm pretty happy with mine now, and I've got

stoptech braided brake lines, 98 bucks front and back

project mu NS400 brakepads, 170 bucks

greddy revolution RS catback, 520 bucks

injen ram intake, 280 bucks

fake ass TRD wing, 80 bucks

misc. second hand braces and struts, mostly from beatrush, cusco and radium, 200 bucks total ish.

1348 bucks so far, wheels, tires, diff/trans/engine oil, filters and brake fluid aside.

got 600 bucks set aside for an EL header this summer, and that's about all I'll want or need far as power and sounds go.

dont forget your management unit, which is guaranteed to run you at least $800 before you ever get it on the dyno

>upgrading brakes a cars that's minivan slow

why? you could just hang a garbage bag out the window.

Trade in the gt86 for a 370z and use the extra 5k as a down payment

youtube.com/watch?v=bXuGhEE8t1U

that's with new tires on stock wheels, and brake pads.

not exactly slow.

>Sell gt86
>buy an EG hatch with a few simple mods
BAM, my gt86 is now a much faster car

Why do you want EL? Also did your trd spoiler come painted?

Breh the brakes are amazing once you upgrade the pads. My track is really hard on brakes and Ive never got ant fade. I know you're memeing though.

200 is just enough in a light car.
Unless you gonna do cancerous shit like drag racing or highway pulls.
These are the cars for twisties and for tight twisties even an ae86 in real life can rek 800hp cars.
Because twisties unlike retarded borderline benchracing tier drag racing requires driver input

>Why do you want EL?

just makes more sense for NA tuning.

don't like the idea of one bank of cylinders potentially running hotter than the opposite either. and not that much into ''boxer rumble''

so EL it is.

>Also did your trd spoiler come painted?

yeah, matches car paints 100%. fit was a fucking whore though, and I probably spent 4 hours working at it to get it to look halfway acceptable.

>8:45+ lap

That's really slow

that ''casual'' lap was 8:22

and it was on open circuit, so he's stuck behind idiots in old BMW wagons half of the track.

making stuff up doesn't make it true you know.

>fake laptimes

I love this meme, anything to justify a slow car

>video ends at 8:47 before he even starts the straight away

greatest irony here is that you're too thick in your head to realize you actually responded to a video of a GT86 doing 8:22, to start with.

and you're too fucking stupid to know how Nordschleife works.

go google BTG and save yourself some humiliation in the future.

Assuming you do all the installation.

1.2K for headers
500-1K for tune
2-3K for turbo kit

Any money leftover can be for cosmetics; otherwise, something like this can easily give you 300+HP without needing to upgrade eternals or fuel supply.

Sell it, give the cash to a tramp after he's given me AIDS by rectally penetrating me and inseminating my anus, spend the next few years of my life sucking many dicks, then die in agony.

At least that way I know I lived better than an 86 owner does.

>he got 8:22 I swear
>doesn't actually do a full lap
>yea if I only do 11 put of the total 12.5 miles that really counts!

>t. rider of bus, keeper of the pass.

google.no/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=bridge to gantry what does it mean&*

>I can just say I got a better time by only doing bridge to gantry
>that last 1.9 miles doesn't mean anything

Even if we humor your slow ads, 8:22 is still slow as fuck even with the extra people on course

I'm actually sitting here arguing with anonyomous children who don't know how Nordschleife works.

you might be fucking retarded, but my life has no goddamn purpose.

>tfw I'm not the only one doing this PSA

Actually someone needs to modify the list. While it says the cayenne turbo did 8.13, there's in that same list a cayenne turbo s that did 7.59.74

This entire post

youtube.com/watch?v=ohGysuuzzX8

8:19 also a tourist run

That's actually really good for a stock 86

>expert on what is fast on the burburgking
>doesn't even know how a lap is timed

RSR one was pretty damn impressive to start with.

that guy however is a driving god

>200 is just enough in a light car.
>light car
2800lbs
that isn't light. I have a 4 door sedan that is only 200 more pounds yet has 50 more horses and over 100 more torks.

>t. faggot 86 owner
Fitting you post a frog as well

>lmao call me when gt86 does sub 10 mins burgeking
>lmao call me when gt86 does sub 9 mins burgerking
>lmao call me when gt86 does sub 8:30 burgerking
>lmao call me when gt86 beats 918 then it stops being shit

anti gt86 arguments in a nutshell: moving goalposts the benchracing.

Every single person who hates gt86 is either a benchracer, busrider or drag racer. Aka none of them matter.

my 86 is 2 623 pounds stock, dry and without driver. as per the registration papers. probably shed about 40 pounds with deletes, light alloys and new exhaust as well.

automatic car is close to 2800 pounds though. if not a bit over if i remember correctly.

what sedan do you have?

they behave like turks, they really do.

where the fuck are you seeing $1200 headers and $2000 turbo kits

headers are like 500-800 and turbo kits start at about 3000 for a barebones one

>car is slow as shit
>b-but drag racers!!!

we donĀ“t live in 80s where you could make a cardboard car anymore.

Spend all of it on stickers that add +5BHP each.

With $5000 you can probably get 1000 stickers, so that's 5000 additional horsepower.

and here is the proofs to back it up. shitty picture, but you can see the scale and ''12.0'' there, 1200kg.

bone stock before weight shedding, and probably some petrol and oils in it as well.

that's also with most of the options, heated windows and seats, all that.

who cares if its slow
You live on one end of a 1/4 mile and work on the other.
You drive in traffic, for which it has plenty of power,
you hoon in the night, for which it is plenty fun, responsive and handles well, not to mention prius tyres so you can pull hektik skidz without breaking speed limits.
you race in the night and streetraces are not about winning or losing but having fun.

Add wider tyres and you can put those 200 horsepower down.
The bottleneck for gt86 is not power like most benchracing retards and busriders believe, its the wheels.

>my shitty 3000 pound sedan is just as light as a 2650 pound brz

Veeky Forums

I was shitposting, and took the 2017 curb weights i found on the interwebs, listed at 2760 to 2800.

I was comparing it to my 95 saab 9000, which the interweb says weighs 3100lbs.

It was shitposting as my car doesn't have hundreds of pounds of 'safety' equipment, although i imagine my car is nearly as safe or just as safe.

A guy runs up to an airline checkin desk, spluttering and heaving as he struggles for breath. "Sorry I'm so late!" he wheezes.

"I'm sorry, sir, but all of our flights have departed." apologizes the checkin agent sweetly, "None will be available until tomorrow."

The man looks at her; "I'm not even flying anywhere. I just came to tell you about my GT86."

you got a saab, so you could drive it through hell and be fine.

far as I've seen with the facelift, I doubt a new bumper, red intake body, dials and LED taillights add hundreds of pounds.

that's hilarious

kek

The UEL is the most effective while NA. The power difference at the top end is negligible, but the uel has midrange power and the el keeps the torque dip.

1.2K for headers that werent welded by retards and you can get turbo kits in the low 2Ks. Sure, they're not fitted to give you a ton of boost, but you can't use too much on the stock engine anyhow.

i might be the only guy who doesnt mind or even notice the ''torque dip'' though.

daily driving you never go above 4500rpm anyways. and if you track the car, you're almost always above 4500rpm

torque dip makes sense in a fuel economy kind of way.

This. The car competes well with others in its class but is not designed for drag races.

...

>brz
>brz

Supercharger and maybe some quality rubber

sell it and buy a car i can actually fit in, since i'm not a manlet with shit taste in cars.

i get the feeling you're a lardyass busrider

lol no the 370z is way faster

>projecting

6,2 190lbs and I fit. I'm not sure i would want to drive it across the country though.

How tall?

this

buy a 3k civic and blow the rest of the 2k on coke and hookers

I'm 5'6'' underweight gaysian, with a 86.

so no.

Trips for a trap?

I'm fairly hairy as well thanks to middle eastern genes, so no.

not without copious amounts of shaving.
