Yes. Make sure the edges don't have vegetation, because corrupted vegetation, such as vines and grass and thorns can spread the corruption and crimson. It does not matter if a jungle vine touches a crimson block, though. It won't spread through the pure vine, but it will spread from a corrupted vine to other pure grass blocks.
