I would say that changing guardbreak is not the right choice because it will be too easy, but latency and lag means that a lot of times it's just luck if I don't guardbreak tech.

I'll expect a guardbreak, see it, double tap, and not break it because of lag.

Guardbreak should not be reactable, but predictable, just like grabs in fighting games are. This is going to make the game even more defensive than it is.

PK and Nobushi don't do large amounts of damage without bleed. Their damage without bleed is lower than every class except valkyrie and Conqueror.

Another user said the same shit. Why the fuck are there so many assassin's in duel? I've literally had one kensei in 20 matches. Everyone else is orochis, berzerkers, and PKs. All of them are annoying as fuck to fight and they feel like the crutch to rely on.

Let's brainstorm some game modes.

Round Robin: Two teams but each possible pairing is 1v1 done once. Team with the most victories, wins. If tied, which team took the least time to kill wins. I'm assuming they'll be done in the same map but in contained boundaries, because a 4v4 has sixteen pairs and people don't want to sit through twelve duels before they get to play.

Arena: Similar to how Chiv does free for all. It's at the epicenter of all three territories. Would need wide maps to prevent every match becoming a cluster. Maybe just a big Colosseum with two varieties, one just a flat circle with no environmental kills and the other with traps.

Siege: A tweak of Dominion. Instead of all objectives available, the attackers have to do stuff to open up and push to the next. Points A favors attackers, B is balanced, and C favors defenders. Like the objective mode in Chiv. The sides switch and whoever got all three points the fastest, wins.

Juggernaut: A series of iterative duels. Whoever wins a fight goes again and has to hold their winning streak. First to a certain amount of victories, wins. Don't know if the winner's health should carry over or be refilled every round.

Bounty (solo): A free-for-all style, but killing gives points plus a bounty on your head. Killing someone with a higher bounty gives you more points. First to a certain score, wins.

Bounty (team): Two teams and like how MGO3 does it. More kills, more points your head is worth, but only an execution gives it to you.

Highlander: 4v4v4 of all factions. Only one each of a hero. Elimination style. Also, uses your neutral color schemes since you can tell teams by hero.

Run through everything.

Once you jump down to the little village, kill the guards one by one. To do this, run away from them. When they start chasing, turn around and guardbreak, poison stab them or do a side heavy > light poison.

Take the healing and damage reduction perk.

Nobushi gets sidestepped and is predictable as fuck. When you fight a class that uses side stepping and unpredictable attacks then you can't do shit except hope your guard break push off and back poke works.

But now when we begin to push the knights start making attempts on the west border, even advancing deep into viking territory.

So what, is there a knight-viking alliance at all or are knights just making it clear how fucking shitty of allies they can be to the vikings that were mostly putting the most assets into the war effort.

Is Dominion seriously the fastest way to level? It feels like it takes ages.
