So some people have theorised that with this game, DR will be giving up it's current format and will be trying a new gameplay style.
If such a thing happens, what setup would you like for the next killing game? Trials or no trials, execution or no executions? Maybe even some non-trial related gameplay mechanics? I'd like to hear everyone's thoughts on it.

Right, so here’s my idea. I admit, right now it isn’t much different from DR’s usual style, but I think with a bit more development it could make for a good change of pace.
>Every chapter, the characters are placed into different target groups
>Characters are only allowed to kill people who are in said target group
>If they directly kill someone in a different target group, they’ll be executed, no question.
>When someone is killed, those in said target group are given a harsh handicap during the investigation.
>They can still question people in both target groups and wander around, but they’re barred off completely from the corpse, and those not in the blackened target group aren’t allowed to share any evidence with them.
>In the trials, the blackened target group will be forced to work on the stands, whilst the others will stand in jury boxes.
>The jury will discuss the crime scene and interrogate the potential blackend. Those in the blackened will only be allowed to argue for their innocence, and nothing else.
>If a potential blackened is able to prove that they’re completely innocent, they can join the jury and help to start directly arguing the case.
Like I said, still needs some work to make it more original.

I'd make shitty homemade pizza for her and stay up late with her watching dumb movies, and feel her cuddle up to me when she can't stay awake anymore. I'd teach her retarded drinking games and show her how to play pool in the rec room.
One night, she silently sneaks over to the kitchen. A shining sliver of a blade extends from her clenched fist when she walks into my room. But her hand stops, centimeters away from my chest, and begins to shake violently. Something is wrong. One by one, her trembling fingers let go of the hilt, and with a soft thud, the knife falls onto the carpet. She throws herself on me and buries her face right where the knife should have gone, Clutching at the fabric of my clothes. Her whole body shakes feverishly and I scoop her body into my arms and tell her that everything will be okay, just like usual. Her silent sobbing turns to wailing that echoes out into the dimly lit corridors beyond the door.
She would finally be cured of despair. Because the only thing she can't analyze is love

How many people are there at first? How many people are in a group? The number of people in a group should increase as time goes on to increase difficulty. Is there a protagonist? Or are we shown different perspectives of the case from a judge's point of view? Is killing someone in a different group immediately punished? Can evidence be secretly shared between groups? Can it be possible for a blackened to "prove" their innocence and manipulate the jury? What kind of style would the game have? DR1 had psycho pop, DR2 had psycho tropical, DR3 had psycho cool. Most importantly, what's the overarching theme?
