>£3500 car
>£9300 yearly insurance
for what purpose
£3500 car
Let me guess, you're under 25 and live in or near a city.
>£9300 yearly insurance
Are you 17?
20 in 3 months
Well no fucking shit sherlock
Young male. Just wait until you turn 25. My insurance went from $1900/yr to $650.
Also, shop around. Good brokers are hard to find but holy shit it is worthwhile looking.
Just let your father be the official owner omg
>9500euros
Damn I'm laughing so bad, fucking eurocucks
That's the symbol for pounds, you utter moron.
American education at its finest.
t.buttblasted UK fag
>europe
>9500 euro a year
I got a fucking careless driving ticket and I don't pay near that. What the fuck?
>amerigans don't understand how socialism works
also it's a tiny island with like, 50 mil people
>socialism
>work
Pick one lmao
The insurance industry is trying to help you by not letting you buy a fat nissan, you should be grateful.
Now go buy a hot hatch or an mx5.
>American education at its finest.
Why would they teach what your shitting money is? The only time Europe gets mentioned in school is when we reminisce about how we beat the shit out of you and defended your country from some super jews.
>Europe is one country when it's convenient
social democracy is not socialism
Why is yurop so completely and utterly cucked?
Why is everyone okay with this?
It really sucks man.
The worst part is the abundance of grey import jap cars though.
I am disappointed, fellow burger
I wonder where went
>Now go buy a hot hatch or an mx5.
like the one you posted? i've driven a clio once, probably the worst car i've ever been into. i don't understand who thinks to themselves "yes, i will buy this piece of shit and pretend it's a gud hawt hatch"
good lord i just can't stand fucking clios
Ignore my other post, you sound like someone who would be happier in a fat nissan.
good argument
Because we don't want teenagers like OP who can't handle a 350Z on our roads
>spending almost twice as much to insure a $4400 car then I spend to insure 3 cars and a house
sheeeiiiit nigga
>can't handle a 350Z on our roads
>meanwhile in California
It's easy to blame power, but power alone doesn't wrap cars around trees.
>21
>0.9 Corsa
>£2000 yearly insurance
damn nigga.
OP here, currently paying £1000/yr for 1.2 corsa with telematic box, could afford without it.
maybe when I move from part time to full time I could afford something up to £2000/yr.
They put a box in it for three months as part of the contract
despite being a total fucking nana driver every month they only knocked 200 quid off of it
I love this meme. A 2.4 Volvo costs 10k a year where as my mate, who is the same age, can get it for 2k because he doesn't live up north
How are the premiums calculated? Why is up north more expensive?
couldn't*
costs £200+ for the fucking box anyways, honestly insurance prices seem fucking retarded in this country.
I think it's calculated by how the drivers in your area/age group drive, so if there's a lot of 17-19 y/o's racing eachother non stop or chasing ambulances and shit, insurance prices for sportyier cars might jump, but I have no real idea about it, could be talking out of my ass.
Insurance fraud and what
is on about.
Postcodes have a massive effect on premiums. the EU ruled you can't base it on gender so they now base it on your job title and use gender statistics from those to guess what you are. From that, they look at your address and see how often claims are made and in a lot of the north's case, how often fraudulent claims are made.
I don't think it can work like this. Anyways it's pretty insane. A 3 litre diesel cost me around €2k per year in Germany when I was younger.
Isn't the 350z the car with the most accidents per vehicle?
ouch
>70,000$ car
>2,000$/yr in insurance
>no carbon tax
A lot of people jump from FWD to RWD, turn traction control off and have a hard time figuring out what counter-steering is
>£
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAH
God damn, son. At 25 mine went from $750/yr to $295/yr. You're doing something wrong.
>every insurance is the same
You're just ret lad
So then Veeky Forums what would you recommend?
>up to £5000
>prefer hatchback, coupe is also fine
>not going to bankrupt me on insurance prices.
>3 door is fine, but 5 door would be nice.
I'm liking the look of pic related, however will do a lot of research before even considering a purchase.
I also haven't checked the insurance prices for pic related.
>inb4 they bankrupt me
Thank God insurance is cheap in Australia.
I would recommend waiting a few years before trying to get anything tasty. Failing that, Clio RS, maybe a Cooper S, possibly a Golf GTi but probably not
It's full coverage from Allstate, what do you have that you feel the need to pay that much for? And that was for two cars, one of which was a V8 mustang.
Tfw just got quoted for 1500 for a 350z
Stay cucked europe
im 19, live in germany and i pay 1k for a mk2 mr2. had my license for just a few months. i think you made a mistake
But in Quebec the insurance prices are reasonable.
