>MaxWrist sentenced to 2 year prison, demoted, and dishonourably discharged
Italians don't fuck around when it comes to riding like a dingaling I guess.

>you will never be physiologically capable of having sex with a bike
Why even live?

You can always stick your dick in the exhaust
Some bikes you can even fuck the airbox by moving some parts out of the way.

Gauntlets or gloves? And why

>tfw voted in the new sam poll

damn, rip in pepperoni

there's a writefag thread on /k/ that you may be interested in
(can't fuck a gun, either, but....)

I bought very breezy perforated gloves and I regret it. Hands are literally always cold.

>mfw when new helmet
>mfw I can breathe because it wont fog up when I take a breath
>mfw it fits perfectly and doesn't fidget or feel too tight (especially when I ordered it online without trying it on)
Lesson learned, no more Bilt helmets.

>mfw no face

gauntlets b/c track days usually require them and I want to minimize the amount of new gear I need to get for track

I am getting a new visor this weekend just because of that and mine is scratched to shit.

>tfw flushmounts work now and are back on
>new windscreen on the way
>getting new sprockets and chain soon
>-1 up front, +2 in the rear
>exhaust and retune soon-ish
>full race plastics
>might get them painted
>or painted and Itasha wrapped

Then it's go-kart track ready.

>brand new
>doesn't feel too tight
enjoy your loose helmet once the padding breaks in

I rode 40 miles without knowing that I forgot to strap my helmet in.

>helmets fits like shit
>too loose
>breezy as hell
but I really like how it looks and I'm too cheap to buy another. Shop has a carbon fiber one that fits amazingly and is light as a feather for $280 but I just can't justify the purchase.

>go-kart track ready

I'd love to take a smaller bike around a kart track. Maybe a Grom or something.

Well, there is a bit of a squeeze. And if it gets too loose, I'll wash and dry it. Or wear a balaclava.
Mine was only about 100 bucks (plus another 40 for the tinted visor) and it was name brand (Bell).

I know that feel.

>tfw you finally realise you've been unstrapped for so long.

>just replaced valve cover gasket
>couple of rides later
>leaking
Fucking Ebay gasket sets can fuck off.

>tfw you rode in the winter and didn't take good care of your bike
>it's now got lots of rust
This is why I'm still 125cc. I don't deserve a real bike.

>wondering what that thwapping sound was for the past 30 minutes
>trying to find something loose on your bike riding down the highway
>it was your helmet strap dangling in the wind

Stop buying cheap shit, my bike is 10 years old, has over 40k, and still 0 rust or leaks.

Spray paint it and sell it to another 125cc fagboi

Do it my guy. I've found a couple of tight corners off the main roads here in town that I practice on.

>tfw one of them is an on ramp no one really uses
>tfw catching 600s ezpz

We ride now

...

...

>Americans
Top kek.

He won't do a single day of prison. Also that's why he put his videos behind a paywall I guess.

Picked up some heated gloves today, my first pair ever.

Anyone have any thoughts or experiences to share on these?

Can we post retarded bicyclists ITT

>fairweather rider detected

I'm going to keep riding it until it implodes under me.

No. This thread is for motorised bicycles only.

...

Did he get shot?

My bike would be terrible on a kart track but my local kart track is pretty good. It's actually a little different now but it's 90% the same to how you see it here, would be based on a mini moto or Grom.

>Americans will actually wait behind a cyclist.
If someone did this where i live they would get their arse kicked.

Or you'd just filter up rather than sitting in the traffic like a lemon.

Tell me about a CBR 500R

1. Is it too powerful for a new rider compared to a 300?

2. Will I ever outgrow it?

3. How different does it drive/handle compared to a 300?

I ask because they're literally only a couple hundred bucks more expensive than a 300

Omg. Lost.

This belongs in a museum.

You can't pass someone on a busy road, especially with double yellow lines, especially with a bunch of police officers right behind you

Don't buy new for you first bike but it is a good learner bike if you can get a decent deal used.

>that feel when a new RF1200 fits suspiciously comfortably in what should be the right size
There is like no way a small should fit at all though.

Do you not see the two police vehicles

>fairweather rider detected
Nah

1. No
2. Probably but that doesn't mean you'll ever ride it to its full potential either.
3. Negligible difference besides the obvious.

Get the 500.

I hope he gets raped by tyrone in the showers

1. No. There is no such thing as "too powerful," if you respect the machine and aren't a fucking idiot.

2. Yes. Absolutely. Especially if you plan any highway riding.

3. Not much. Slightly more noticeable pickup probably. Weight and handling will be about the same.

Don't be a pussy and get a 600RR.

>500R is "learner tier"
>600RR is too powerful and dangerous for a learner

Literally 100 cc difference

explain that shit

Read the sticky

can I put vinyl wraps on a enduro bike plastic?

I did one with maddie but its on my pc and could post it when im back home

Fair enough. Still pretty sure even the most expensive bike is going to rust if it gets hit with road salt, rain and mud then is left in a cold shed for three months though.

Why is the bike riding in the middle of the fucking road?
he should pull over and let all of them pass.
doing 20km/h or more under the limit without letting faster traffic pass should be illegal in all countries.

Nice fz man

No.

Another BC dingaling I see

Of course you can.

u no it
y-you too

CBR500 guy here.

>1. Is it too powerful for a new rider compared to a 300?

Nope, it is pokey enough that you can get off the line quicker than most things, and it'll accelerate up to 90 with ease but it'll peter off from there. Fast enough to have fun as a novice without scaring yourself shitless.

>2. Will I ever outgrow it?

Yes, I've had mine for almost two years (European A2 license means I have to), was ready for something faster after about 6 months but that's me, some people stay on 125s for ages and are perfectly happy, it depends on what you're after really, but if you want speed you'll find it lacking with time.

>3. How different does it drive/handle compared to a 300?

It's a fair bit heavier than the 300, but what it has in weight it makes up for in power. It's not pigfat, but the 300 is quite nimble. Around a track the 500 is sitll faster though, it does handle quite admirably well for what it is.

All in all, I'd 100% recommend it over the 300. It's a great first big bike too.

>if you respect the machine and aren't a fucking idiot.
Wow, what a clear way to tell if you have the skills necessary to ride a certain bike. It surely doesn't take into consideration how slow and difficult it would be to increase your skill when you're in fear of your vehicle, or how you'd react safely in the case of an emergency when you're too afraid of what it might do, especially when you're a new rider.

I'm going to buy a Ninja 636 for a first bike (and a complementary DNR bracelet to go with it) and no amount of screeching is going to stop me.

So is Schaaf next then? He drives recklessly too.

I'm fixing to sell my CBR500r, great starter, it has enough power to get you around where you need to go.

I would recommend it as a first bike, try and find one that doesn't look pretty though, I made that mistake and scratched the hell out of it, probs gonna lose quite a bit on the sale because of it

do it phaggot

That's Mulholland and you do not cross the double yellows on Mulholland, its one of the most popular riding roads in the country.

Protip: if you're looking for just "enough power", even a Ninja 250 can competently ride freeways. Hell, the Grom has a top speed of 80 and it's a 125.

Also, don't go in the weekends unless you want to meet up with spandex warriors.

>Maxwrist is American
lel

He should. I agree with you entirely. In fact odds are he will get a ticket for disrupting traffic.

Thanks fampai. What mesh net is that.

>try and find one that doesn't look pretty though

Or just don't be a retard and look after it...

>the Grom has a top speed of 80
Why would someone do this? just go on the internet and tell lies.

Man, I missed lurking here. Oh wait... I didn't really.

Here, once again, is my favourite pair of bike tits.

Stay safe, faggets. (except kitkat you can kys anytime)

Is the OP image just a picture or is there a video? Because I want to see it.

>What mesh net is that.
the cheapest one I could find on Amazon

>one of the most popular riding roads in the country
>2 cops in one webm

I don't understand

It's real, there's video on liveleak somewhere. Dad gets his shit snapped up screaming in pain while son cries

>Weight and handling will be about the same.
>weight
Could you at least pretend to have any idea what you're talking about, the 500 is 70lbs heavier than the 300 and has a significantly wider rear tire.

>120mph bike
>insufficient for highway riding

>except kitkat you can kys anytime
T-thanks bb ;)

Post link

>tfw I do look after it, but it's scratched up from mistakes/drops

I'm trying ok?

I think it was this one here but it's not in my order history anymore so I'm not sure.

amazon.ca/PowerTye-Cargo-featuring-Adjustable-Hooks/dp/B0022ZXO40/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1490397456&sr=8-7&keywords=cargo mesh

I'm gonna dig for it, though if anybody has a link I'd be eternally grateful.

>>insufficient for highway riding
Everyone here knows you need at least 900cc's for highway riding. You want to be cruising basically at idle.

>Americans won't overtake a cyclist or honk at him

mph bike
>>insufficient for highway riding

To be fair I do have one and it's not the nicest for highway riding, anything above 60mph and you're sat at annoyingly high revs, and the bike only revs to 9. It's not insufferable, I've covered hundreds of miles in a day on mine okay, but it isn't great for highway miles.

Thank you my dude

>americans keep calling yuro cucks when they can't even overtake a bicycle because "dude that's a double yellow!" and are scared of cops

YOU LITERALLY CAN'T MAKE THIS SHIT UP

Just got back from the machine shop.

Hnng.

I'm not American and I don't call yuros cucks

You can get cheaper ones but they have metal hooks and will scratch up your side rails

Thought I was going to be no-bike on monday, given me a few extra days of riding around.. I'm going to miss her guys.

I saw a nice doggo on my ride today.

It's a bike, unless it's a Gold Wing you have pretty much abandoned highway comfort anyways.

Yeah that's what I figured. I need to fish out my touring bag from my closet.

>He literally can't ride a motorcycle with more than 48hp until he's 24 by law.
You can't make this shit up

>You can't make this shit up
Didn't stop you from doing it because what you said is factually wrong, you can ride what you want at 20.

You're right, its actually 104
youtube.com/watch?v=L1YLcygIReY

If the gasket fit correctly it could be made from almost anything. I hit paper gaskets with spray copper coat, let dry to tacky (about a half hour) then install.

Meow.

Is $4000 a good price for a 2004 cbr1000rr with 17k miles?

Maybe downhill with a tail wind and you weigh 45 pounds. And air passes freely through your body.

No

Youre talking about 50 to 80hp difference between a 500cc learner bike and a 600cc sportbike.

600's literally have more than twice the power of a 500cc learner bike with more agressive ergos and more agressive geometry/handling.
