One of the reasons I kinda like the upgrade trees in STCOP. They feel like actual upgrades (minor upgrade enhancements), and are fairly balanced -- at least, in CoM. And none of them are otherworldly magic shit.

I'm using WG so shouldn't it had STCoP upgrades? It still does have those minor ones, it's just that weight and mag ones are also there. Don't know if those are present in regular STCoP.

Weight ones are in STCOP, but it's dependent upon the weapon. I haven't seen a single one with a mag upgrade, not even the PKM.

Also, am I missing something in companion management? Are they shortcut keys for "tactics" and other orders? I had to keep these faggots all the time at "don't shot" so they don't go into fights with muties/stalkers that aren't even on our way(the "don't shot until attacked" didn't stopped them from that either), and on map changes/game loads there were moments with hostile stalkers/mutants right at our faces and they wouldn't react to that, and you can't really change their behaviour mid-fight via dialogue cus ur shit is on fire.

I realized that despite playing Stalker since the week it came out in 2006, I never actually paid attention to anyone's names or dialogue.

I've figured out a way to skip the Yantar zombie attack mission in CoC. Just sleep at the bed when the emission and zombie attack starts. Then leave in the direction of wild territory. The mission will be canceled and the zombies will be gone.
