Idk anything about the Steam version. I know it works for Origin digital since the game basically just looks for the paths to the installs and doesn't care if you have packs that aren't registered in the client.

That's good enough for me. If it doesn't call home to check, it should work just fine. Also, I'm pretty sure there's a way to transfer EA games from Steam to Origin, I've done it (albeit accidentally) with a couple.

I downloaded some new default skins and eyes. I didn't want to go too crazy different. I wanted the skin close to maxis style, because a lot of what I found was weirdly shiny.

Maybe you have some your preferred better?

The Carrington Institute in Perfect Dark (though no doubt this is way too big for TS4)

But well I dont know if this is the case here since it seems like this is happening to non pirates. And only affects some nvidia users. At least I know I did not pirate this game so idk why I would have this bug if it would be a drm.
The fix worked for me.

They did it with the Arkham games too, the pirate versions had a bug where batman couldn't glide.

Ignore this retard who is claiming it's an anti-piracy bug. He's an obvious moron who is probably intentionally spreading misinformation. The Nvidia Inspector route works perfectly and fixes the problem.

Ladders and working elevators would be nice, too.
Really annoyed city living added elevators but we can't use them in normal lots

Can any kind souls help me out here? For some reason my, and only my, sim's skin textures bugs out and becomes this flat, stretched texture. This seems to happen when my sim goes to university. Other sims are just fine and this sim was working fine before she went to university. Hell, if I have her streak her body is fine, but doing anything else to strip down results in this fucked up texture.

Vampires comes with cracked wall decals for brickwork (or windows, if you use moveobjects), water stains, peeling wallpaper decals.

City Living has old, distressed versions of furniture, as well as mouse/roach infestations/power outages/leaky pipes (use mods to unlock these for regular houses)

Try resetting your sim, if that doesn't work reset them using master controller. If still no luck then try fixing sims home world through master controller. If none of that works then it just might be the sims skin if you're using a custom one.

Day 1 version of TS4 had a big where the censor bars would cover the entire screen.
