Tube sites and paysites are owned by the same companies.

Basically, they bought all those tube sites so instead of having some third party profit off their bootlegged videos that are uploaded there, now it's still them profiting of the same video whether it's on its official website or it's on a tubesite.
They just remove most of the full versions of the content produced by their other paysites, and put an ad for the official one on the little clips.
That's why it's a million times easier to find a little piece of a video, rather than the whole full quality version.

Then those paysites make money by selling you a very cheap tryal version that hooks you up because the quality and convenience is on a whole other level, and once you're inside they upsell you other subscriptions to other websites of their same network.

Every time you log into Brazzers, RK, and the other ones in that network, you get redirected to a page called pornportal with all their other websites (and it tells you which ones are accessible from your account).

After I get into the website itself there are animated banners of scenes from other websites that they own, so you're baited into subscribing there as well, just to get that hot scene you saw before.

Couple these sales/marketing tricks with the fact that a lot of people prefer spending a relatively small amount of money for the convenience, quality, and ease of use, and you'll see why a lot of people still spend money on these websites.
