After listening to Daydream Warrior, Guilty Night, Guilty Kiss, and Guilty Eyes Fever, am I the only ones who think that western style tunes fit Aqours? The idol-y moe kind of songs are good but it kinda gets bland after a while. It'd be nice to have some variation. If Aqours want to differentiate themselves from μ's, they should develop their own unique style and I think western EDM pop fits them perfectly. What do you guys think?

Guys have you heard new rumors about the real reason for muse's breakup? According to r/lovelive apparently there were some power struggles going on between two factions of the girls. The first one made up of Umi, Maki, Honoka, Eli and Kotori. They're strong proponent of making the group more appealing to Western audience by being more sexualized on stage and irl aswell. They believe that modern girls should be encouraged to explore her sexuality freely and their work as schoolidols is to be on the forefront of that. They propose that their stage performance should be more sexy aka k-pop dance, more revealing clothes and the lyrics should be more about their personal sexual experience. They also think they should be open to the public who they date/how they have sex etc... We call them, in layman term, the slut faction. Umi is said to be the leader of this group.
The other one where Nico, Nozomi, Rin, Hanayo belongs however is more conservative. They believe in maintaining the classic pure virginal image of schoolidols. They think that schoolidols shouldn't be a reflection of modern degeneracy but something ideal to look up to. In layman term we can call them the Pure girls faction. Nico is said to be the strongest proponent of this philosophy.
The struggle still going on even after the breakup and is said to spread to aqours aswell. Who in aqours support which faction is unknown but people believe the similar division can be seen in aqours aswell. Who do you think support which in aqours?
Muse actually had a good handful of amazing single and subunit songs like love marginal, onaji hoshi ga mitai, unbalanced love, and spicaterrible. They never topped the cutesy group shit though.

Mari's VA has won singing competitions before and has performed, meanwhile Rikyako came from a actress background. All of the best singers in Aqours came from a singing background for a reason (Anchan/Ainya/King/Aikyan).

Some are. Mimorin, Nanjo, Rippi, Aikyan, Ainya, and King all have character voices that match their non character voices.
The best part of the live for me was the subunit songs. I really enjoyed CYaRoN! and Guilty Kiss even made me like Shuka more.
