Post bikes

3rd for 125cc enough cc

when do bikes start popping on craiglist? may? june? july?

april 20 ish

...

...

can you corner with this?

...

Sadly no. Gotta flat bed it everywhere just for pics

Doing webms on phone a shit

Legit. If your bike can go the speed limit, it's fast enuf

2 days till my bike arrives

>soon

I see what you did there.
Faggot.

Liking your middle-aged men bike still?

...

Very much, it's great on the highway and that's what I use it for most.
But it's still fun to ride on other roads too, it doesn't feel too big/heavy.

Also, since I'm a tall rider it's much more comfortable than most sportbikes.

Why do you think I have my middle aged man bike?
For some reason there are little big bikes for younger people.

>that fender
You have a space ship on the back of your bike, user.

...

Before I fucked the whole bike up lmao

cb300f good first bike?

yep

No, get a thou, pussy.

You'll have to go WOT everywhere to have fun tbqh.

Get the 500f if you can afford it.

thanks

s1000rr or r1m for first bike?

S1k. With all those rider aids you'd honestly be fine.

start looking for coffins too then

what's the context of this pic?

also my baiku

How is the Fz-09? I was thinking of getting one myself, they look like a lot of fun.

Seems that the dude is ripping a burnout in the middle of a paintball game, or something like that

Obvious Dutch is obvious

I thought he was blending right in, between all those bycicles.

RSV4 or the 1299. You'll get mad (boi)pussy.

Can someone help a noob out that's going to replace his sprockets and chain.

Is this a 'heavy duty' chain and sprocket set or not? D.I.D is a good brand right?

ebay.co.uk/itm/332133951098

What do you mean by 'heavy duty'?

Well the mechanic said if its important to get a heavy duty set as a standard set apparently won't last 5 minutes.

What bike have you got?

ybr 125.

is it good?

yeah the bike's alright for a 125 I guess.

Shit suspension good engine

Is buying an 80s honda baiku a bad idea for getting into motorcycles? I keep coming back to the idea of plopping 1-2k on a nice-ish carbed bike after shitter craigslisting. Not opposed to getting my hands dirty, assuming I get to ride eventually

Ah, I get it. Yeah, that's fine.

Yep, it'll fucken go on you all the time and parts are rare, especially if its a UJM. Grab a 2000+ bike. Long run it'll be cheaper.

Fug, is that why they're all so cheap then? It's a shame because I really do dig the look of the older UJMs. Pic related is 1400 dollhairs for example and allegedly works at the moment. If that moment doesn't last very long though I can see that being a pain
chicago.craigslist.org/sox/mcy/6071789228.html

>Fug, is that why they're all so cheap then?

Yep. You're buying someone else's problem.

...

Well damn, that's a drag. Hypothetically, if somebody were moronic/masochistic enough to still want a UJM, are there any particular models which have slightly more support and part availability than others?

A 90s GS500 or SV650 (curvy frame). They do alright and you can still get bits for them, but they're both pretty daggy (maybe less than an XJ650 or something, but nonetheless).

Yeah I wasn't trying to hide it.

Neat, thanks. Even saw a few 2000s GS500s that were affordable looking
Now to earn enough shekels over the summer

Ever want to ride together?

Dont buy on ebay, many fakes. Had an ebay "DID" chain fail on me after 1500mi

Is that an SV1000?

>Blocking out your plate
>Can see it in the reflection anyways

got rid of my scooter and got a yamaha ybr

any good side containers for it like in op?

Toolbox fixed with woodscrews.

ammunition canisters bolted on

this is actually pretty cool

if I painted my bike in military green this would be pretty cool

do it then

where all the toofiddies at

On their way, just takes them a while.

>where all the toofiddies at

At home in the driveway waiting for me to get back from work so that I can install the rear sprocket that I had to take an angle grinder to the bolts to to free because Honda doesn't follow their own factor torque specs. What the shit Honda?

Australia strikes again!

Maybe, quite busy at the moment unfortunately.

>Go to /dbt/ discord
>People just blankposting and talking shit about eachother

I really had hope for this...

This is mine.

These saddlebags costed me £60 and they're alright. Lots of room.

I dont think you'll ever be able to find hard panniers.

Thoughts on F800ST?

does it go f00st?

ah right. Where should I buy from?

How much money am I typically looking at spending for a high quality chain and sprocket set?

Because that one is £31.

>busy
I know all about that.
Give a shout here if you ever have some spare time, I'm lurking most of the time.

>says the guy whose never ridden a liter bike, let alone any super sport

Considered one as first bike, looked up forums, apparently they tend to last 30k km before engines/ pistons go bad

What was your first bike Veeky Forums ? How old were you when you got it?
Pic related is mine, got it 2 weeks ago, I'm 25

it looks like it says spagetti on the tank

Typically right about now in the US. Taxes are due in less than 3 weeks so people are going to be selling stuff.

>fz6
>28

Yes, the naked one, just bought it as a daily
I had blocked that out for a previous purpose, not bothered, hack me m8

I was 16 when I got a free '78 CB400. Never got it to fire up.

Get a running bike as a first bike.

...

it's not a /dbt/ discord, it's a stickerfag discord with an unmoderated bike channel, all of the moderators are pedophiles so expect that kind of content to be standard.

If you're normal you should leave now because you just will end out leaving in the future anyway.

Rm250

I'm 38, but my first 'bike' was a Honda Vision 50, so a scooter. Thing took some abuse though! Once I killed that I had a Kawasaki AR50 with an 80cc top end, shit was cash.

I was 16, so a while ago.

After the age of about 21 I didn't ride a bike for a long time, but started again 2 years ago when I did my full test (UK). First bike this time around was a Honda VTR1000.

...

Do scooters count as bikes?

How to choose next bike? My mind is saying getting something cheap and smol (R3, versys 300x), because cheap on gas and insurance, practical, plus it'll be adequate for the job. My heart says fuck that shit, and get that newer faster, more expensive bike (xsr900, gsxs1000, r1200r, street triple 765, and probably more that I'm forgetting)

I've been riding for a few years, live in dense LA, and would use it for canyons / day trips / commuting.

How do/did you guys pick your next bike(s)?

There's gotta be a bike you've always loved everything about. Fuck money get your dream bike. Don't let anyone make the decision for you

I wanted something that was quick, handled fairly decently and was comfortable whole being affordable and had cheap insurance.

My two options where the fz6 and the Honda hornet 600. There where no Hondas in my area so I bought a Yamaha

A question for the EuroPosters:
Have you ever carried gasoline on your bike?
Have you ever had trouble with the law for doing it?
Is it legal?

>Is it legal
If it's against Sharia law, it probably is.

never dome myself, but here in Italy you can carry max 60L on specifically approved canisters.

To become a bikefag or not to become a bikefag.

Yes it's legal, as long as it's in a proper fuel container

>If you're a sissy trap numale cuckboi, then don't do it
>If you aren't afraid of leaving your house to do stuff, then go for it
