This is one of Himawari's weak points to me, it suffers from the fact it was originally released in 3 parts, it changes Akira's character drastically.

DC1 and 2 both had the same kind of thing where the true route ties everything up. The main problem people have with 3 is how it does a bait and switch with being set in the past, but if you go in with the mindset of it being closer to DC0 then it is easier to get over that.

You should be fine doing it that way as you basically get them though seeing every scene involving a certain character in the common route (during free time events) which can be a bit of work and doesn't add all that much to them if you want to save time.

There's something worse. It's a moege that ends with confession and kiss, no dating, flirting and so on.

People play moege and other romance oriented VNs for relationship progression, and h-scenes end up being a step in that. If it is moved to a menu then that progression is moved outside of the story.

My only experience with detached H was with Corona Blossom and it was pretty shit. Mainly because tons of character development was skipped over to make the H scenes happen that none of them even felt like the same characters. Not sure how Chrono clock handles it but supposedly Purple Software got railed pretty hard for it so I imagine they're similarly shit.
