Which basically means there is one guy scratching his belly and running some basic tests while implementing some slight changes. Another guy writes a post for the public.

To be fair, Overwatch rarely adds new characters.
But yeah, this doesn't excuse Capcom from doing so long maintenances just to add one character. If anything, it makes it worse because Capcom should be so used at adding new characters to the current build yet they still take so long after one year of SFV.

I think Alex is well-liked among /fgg/, many simply dislike his standing pose and his new haircut which they probably changed just because his original one was too difficult to animate for them.
His playstyle is very 50/50, but non-gameplay wise merely as a character, he is approved.
