How exactly do you beat a Berserker in a duel? All they do is wait for you to attack then dodge, and there's not a lot you can do.

No. You could only swap faction and keep your season rewards during the first round. We are now in round two, so more severe penalties are in effect. If you switch now, you forefit not only the rewards for this round, but the end of season rewards as well.

This, even if you play a character with bad guard swap speed you should still be able to parry literally every attack in the game effortlessly every time.

This game is super easy and I parry literally every attack 100% of the time. Warden zone attack? It's like it's in slow motion for me, haha.

Lawbringer main here, I have never missed a parry ever. Sometimes I play against Level 3 Valkyrie bots and just spend all day parrying for fun.

so why do the devs have such a hard on for insta kills? it's like they know some heroes would be shit without them so they covered over half of any given map in them instead of you know, making those heroes viable.

It's definitely more realistic.
Environmental hazards are all over on legit battlefields. Half of war is just not dying trying to get to your enemy.

This, I parry Orochi feinted zone attacks without even really paying attention, I once teched a GB on a Warden's Vortex and then just stood there and did nothing, when he used his zone attack I parried it effortlessly and then emoted in his face, destroying him mentally.

Peacekeepers run in fear when they see me, knowing their light spam is nothing but free parries for me.

Truly everyone on Earth has the same reaction speed and thus everyone should be equal in For Honor. The game is balanced very well.

I never understand why Peacekeepers use last laugh in Elimination. You're literally wasting your perk slot on something that only matters if you die.

If there was consistency in the placement sure, half the "hazards" are gone or even just covered up by wood in some modes then others they aren't. The worst part is it varies on the map so harshly that certain classes (like LB) are flat useless sometimes or the strongest fighter.
