I want to say yes because Dungeon Travelers 2 is currently the best localized Vita dungeon crawler, but at the same time no because of the same reason.

You can always go to Demon Gaze if you want a crawler with an actual good story and nice OST, but it's incredibly easy for people used to the genre.

Well, other Vita DRPGs might feel a bit lacking after playing DT2. Moe Chronicle is pretty easy and has lots of nice lewds so you can't really go wrong with that. At the moment I'm enjoying MeiQ surprisingly lot, crafting some weapons and seeing how utterly it destroyed certain metal guardian was fun as fuck.

Laughed at this fucking dragon though, looks fucking miserable.

That reminds me, I'm not sure about how to feel about Revisited compared to the original. I hope the later dungeons have been changed enough because Guard Counter is one of the dumbest mechanics I've ever seen so far.

Honestly, and people will get mad at for even mentioning this, Vita seems very lacking in the DRPG department, at least in terms of the localized releases. It seems the DS/3DS is fairly fitting for the genre with many high quality localized releases, but they're not as varied as they're mostly Entrian Odyssey or some SMT games, and some other obscure releases like The Dark Spire which is rare as fuck now. It really sucks to, I feel the Vita would be very fitting for this genre, but quality varies with every drpg on the Vita and not many of them seem to tickle my fancy, but again this is mostly in reference to the ones that are localized.

I really like the new classes but there is literally no reason not to start everyone off as clocker.
The clock up skill is too good.

That being said, I vastly prefer Revisited to the original. I got the plat and intend to plat Revisited, but the original was just a slog at the start / end. So far, Revisited is just a steady incline.

I agree in some ways, the beginning is a pain in the ass in the original and it can be hard to get your bearings. It just feels as if things have swung way too hard in the other direction in this release though, you get experience and other stuff so often, Guard Counter feels hilariously broken and it lets you win early fights just by spamming Defend when things aren't stunned. Maybe things will change later on, hopefully sooner rather than later.

Well, it's not like there's a huge amount of them being released currently. Lately I can only really think of the EO series and a few things on the Vita.

Yup, it's not optimal. Though personally I don't care, Gust games always come first for me no matter what. But on the other hand, I do realize that my gaming tastes are niche of the niche. I do have faith at western Gust fanbase being loyal enough to keep it going even this time around. But people who are on the edge of buying another Atelier, those sales will be very hard to get.

This is kind of a meme game, but seriously try and play Asuka 120% Burning Festival (PS1 version). It's a broken and imbalanced fighter, but I had fun. Also it did fast movement + double jump + air dash before Guilty Gear popularised it.

But for everything that ends something else begins.

Though not all change is for the better.

Gust is also normally priority for me, but so is Zelda, and having to buy Switch for the game is not going to allow me to buy Firis for some time, not to mention Nier is another game I really want as much.

All are viable, pick the style you like most. I'd say Samurai has the most potential late game because of dual wield and Gazer can function as fighter, but it doesn't matter too much towards finishing it.
Ranger = most stable dps but not best late/post game. Probably easiest to use.
Fighter = most damage potential but miss quite often.
Samurai = most potential, but weaker early and mid game.
