I'd say B&S environment textures are better, however this game is optimized muuuch better than B&S and Tera, I run my computer on power save mode and get smooth 60fps, it barely eats any CPU or RAM compared to other MMOs especially Tera. Even toasters can run this game, no wonder the minimum specs are so low. Chinese seem to know their way around Windows better than Koreans.

Well there's only 1 tank and 1 healer as far as I'm aware, then 3 dps and 1 mix. The occultist is the mix, can heal, dps, debuff, etc. Don't know really if it's trash or not yet, but can't ever go wrong with tank or dedicated healer for raids.

Guys who have gotten to later raids: is there any unavoidable damage you need to soak? I want to optimise my stats, if there's some you have to take I should put some points in Vigor/Spirit, but if not I'll just pump Dex to max.

To cover for shitters, if you healer bites it at 10% then you can help pick up the slack.

Hybrids are flexibility, but for groups of people who don't blow flexibility is not helpful.

For PvE anyway.

For PvP it is the complete reverse, flexibility is king, the more things you can do the higher your cap end viability.

For off healing, mostly raids and shit are where they're useful. They can pick up slack for a healer that dies or something and go back to doing damage once the primary heal is caught back up.

You have the chance to spot heal when shit goes bad, like someone dies and the healer has to combat res, but to do that he needs to stop healign everyone for 5 fucking seconds, so the hybrid can keep the tank up for a while but not the whole fight, unless it's a fight where the res point is close which some people abuse.

But answering people with the thigns they want to hear "hur SM is best" therefore "occult is shit", or "occult is best" therefore "SM is shit" keeps building a fucking stigma over classes when people have not even played them or been in a party with one.

In this particular chase occult is actually almost on par with dps, but they don't reach that tier of damage because they spent time buffing/debuffing and offhealing which is pure dps time lost.

This is a game with 6 fucking classes, there's not that much room for shitter ones, if anything the only one fucked is BM before max level, and at max level gunner is unpopular in China at max level, I won't go into detail if you want to know more do your research in the official forums, there's guides for all the classes and there's no need for me to copypasta.

occ has way too much utility to be ignored, you will always want 1
bm never tanks because they scale so well they're top dps in later levels

It's very alt friendly. You get easy ways to level up fast(there are special level-up arenas and quests designed to give you shittons of XP with minimal effort) and there is a limit to how many times you can run a dungeon every day(1-5 times per day depending on the dungeon) so people who play 24/7 on their mains won't have a huge gear advantage over you.
