I just finished my very first legendary in any total war and I honestly don't think I ever want to do that shit again. Doing it as Skarsnik probably didn't help either. I just wish there was an ironman save option without the difficulty attached.

Can we be honest? Age of Sigmar isn't bad. It just needs a few rule tweaks and it will be a fine, if simple table top game. What was fucked up is it wasn't a pocket universe. They could have had Age of Sigmar and eaten the Fantasy Battle Cake too.

GW is constantly 5-10 years behind the rest of the planet. They think that if they start to ape WoWs style and make their world more generic their IP will be more bankable.
Unfortunately even Blizzard is starting to give up on WoW and the changes GW made only served to remove what made the IP fun in the first place (historical references, British-style humour, etc)
To add insult to injury, WhFB vidya products are beginning to climb in popularity as Age of Shitmar miniatures rot on their shelves.

Only thing I'm worried about is CA's no DLC for DLC rule. Does that apply to FLC? I mean would the rule also apply to a free update to Wood Elves (not counting general updates that would include DLC factions obviously).

I never finished any TW campaign, in over 2k combined hours. It just gets boring.
Maybe in my next WRE legendary run.

make lots of saves, take your losses on the nose. it doesn't make any sense at all to use ironman features on long games and games prone to bugs.

We're also at a point that the vamps are played out. Isabella is only interesting because of lore. She hardly added anything to the game. There are only so many lords you can add to one faction before they start suffering from redundancy. There's still no good reason to take one of the caster LLs for vamps because the melee focused ones can do the exact same thing with a slightly different army comp.

Still has pretty good bonuses though, increased trade income and free xp for knights is better than aura size increase imo.

The biggest issues I have with age of Sigmar is they completely simplified the magic phase into the "hero" phase where everyone casts spells for free and you can't stop them. Some of the other stuff is alright like giving archers a once per game ability they can use to shoot 4 arrows per person so they can be useful.
I like some of the new looks of the armies (which is what actually matters to me) when I saw the lore was boring I just ignored it.

It would be aids beyond measure if Beastmen and Wood Elves never got RoR, or more LLs. Beastmen would be greatly enhanced by adding Taurox and the Ghorgon. It's just so lazy that beastmen have a giant reskin instead of the Ghorgon.

I think it is inevitable that these first factions will lag behind the new ones that will be release with the next two games, but it would be ridiculous if the DLC factions lag even further behind because of this policy.
