Not to shit post and what not as I own BB but not Sengoku, but as a new player I'd 100% rather start with Sengoku. He's super super flexible and can use pretty much any unit from fortnights.

If you're not hitting that 4 type split on BB he's literally useless and is going to be way more restricting to newer players. And neither of them are going to be realistically stalling for their specials.
BB's huge HP is a massive boon but once again only if you hit those 4 different types and depending on the FN rotations you could be waiting a long time time to make a halfway decent team while Sengoku is absorbing and using everything that comes along easily, plus he's fast.

Sengoku isn't bad, but ask yourself, if you started over right now and could start with any legend, would you pick fucking Sengoku? No. Of course you wouldn't.

And where are you getting these good units from nigga? What I put is pretty much what new players are going to have if they rerolled for a specific legend, they might have 1 or 2 decent RR MAYBE but if they were gunning for a specific legend then they'd take Ms. Goldenweek with that legend if they had to.

Of course BB is better in the future, but we're talking about an account that is literally plvl 1 just starting out and what they'd realistically have access to unit wise.

No one fucking cares about starting out. If you're a new player, chances are you'll be fumbling about for the first couple months without actually knowing what to do.
Actually I'd argue that if you used Sengoku, you'd get pretty far without actually understanding that the game and that would hurt you more than starting out with BB and going slightly slower but at least you can do all the lategame content.
