It's pretty useful in low ranks where people have reaction times of a snail. Regular 2-3 man kills.

Depends on the bracket. Plat and above players tend to be pretty ok at grouping, but there's no point in playing rein if everyone is just deathmatching. Playing rein with a proper team is great though.

I used to, but solo queue plat/diamond lacks the coordination required to stand behind my fucking rectangle so I started playing Zarya and Tracer instead

Use it for zoning, nobody ever wants to go into the open when they hear a friendly cowboy announce the time

Literally no one gives a shit about mercy apart from pharah, so you getting gangbanged 3 inches behind the team means nothing to them unless they lose a flake of health
Then the reaper/genji's that demand you burn rez to get them up because "im carrying"....it's too fucking much

Playing Rein can be really polarizing. You either have a great time dictating pushes and smashing shit up, or you're trying to endure to the most frustrating experience in the game if no one utilizes your kit.

I usually switch to Zarya if the latter happens.
