I honestly doubt that because Saihara seemed to show more skill in chapter 1 and subsequently took a hit when Kaede died. I generally find the character cast of the games interesting, so I play the games to get to know them better. The trials are also pretty fun. Gotta agree about the husbandos in V3, they're all good. I also don't see myself really disliking any of the characters, I think the cast was pretty strong and got plent of interactions outside latching onto the protagonist.
