You've got the right idea. TSX was on my radar as well when I was looking for a daily beater. It's just a bit too nice for true beater status. G20 hits it right on the money.

i've had it for 8 years now, had the stock L98 in it but ive since built it up with a holley stealth ram, .510 cam, AFR heads with some extras inside. Higher stall but it really needs a beefier transmission and rear end. I dont drive it to hard which is maybe once a week. Just dont have the money to invest in a new trans yet

Yeah, making turd gens great again requires quite an investment. I love the look of the cars, but they're hard to find in good shape. I mean even brand new they weren't the most solid vehicle on the road and made shit power. They're easy to mod, but it can take time and money; things not always easy to come by.
