Honestly I can get over the forest genesis dragon that leaves wards, as much as I would like it. The thing that really ruffles my feathers is they gave the D Shift counter to SWORD. So the best craft gets even better, and will be the only control to not get countered by D Shift. Fucking bravo.

I think I almost lost to a modified Forest starter deck as Dragon. It had Cynthias, Lionels and Blessed Fairy Dancers but I didn't see a single Roach.

ERINYES is still good, she can clear a cheap follower without needing to waste an evo. Squall Lancer is also a viable option if you're willing to spend that evo. But yeah Airship is some crazy board value if you hit the actual 2 drops and not the shittier 1 drops.

You can't compare between crafts like that, there are plenty of cards that are amazing in one craft that would be mediocre in another, depending on craft mechanics and what else they have.

In this case, one of Dragon's problems was no particular good play on turn 3 after they ramp and have 4 PP. This allows them to make use of it, so expect this to drop often on turn 3, quite a bit before the opponent has access to the standard 5 cost removal cards.
