Light atk up is different from rage so it stacks with e.g. Lucy's call / rage from someone else

Light res down on an enemy means you deal more damage and dark res up means you take less damage from dark.

Not to mention she's got an on-demand 2500 shield along with def up and revitalize. She's more useful all around.

Depends on what content you're doing. If you're soloing, Ferry is kinda hard to justify. You can sub her out for Song instead. For raids, Ferry is more important, but there's usually no need to frontline Song for raids. She's better off in the first sub slot, so that she comes out right when you need her.
