Okay, rotaries have to be a big convoluted joke. No way could an engine that needs to be rebuilt every 40k miles, burns oil BY DESIGN, has zero torque and such unconventional design with rare parts could be a serious attempt at making a good motor, yet mazda made a ton of money and people want a revival. hold me Veeky Forums, I didn't think this many people could possibly be dumb enough to take the bait that is the wankel...

Many engines technically burn oil "by design". The oil near the crankshaft will be routed to the cylinder to be burned off, which is why people have oil catch cans.

What? Fuck no, catch cans are there to catch oil vapor in the escaping crankcase fumes from blowby

Yes but that oil is intentionally routed back into the cylinder to be burnt. The blow by goes to the oil at the crankshaft which creates the vapors you're talking about.

inb4 300 replies to this shitty bait

sage and do not reply

but it's smooth
with a nice sized turbo the power and rpm rise in such harmony as the engine goes from the 2 stroke brap to a screeching REEEEEE

what the fuck are you talking about?
shut the fuck up retard

Reminder the mazda R26B engine has a 100% winning ratio in the highest class in LeMans

Lmao op read a YouTube comment and now thinks he is an expert

Kys
Seriously
Your life is worthless

>doubt it's even bait, piston cucks are literally this retarded

>a 100% winning ratio in the highest class in LeMans
But it's only won once out of 94 races

Bmws burn significantly more oil than a rotary with a busted metering pump
By design

>“Oil consumption is normal on all engines,” BMW spokesman Hector Arellano-Belloc said in an e-mailed statement. “BMW vehicles have long intervals between oil changes (10,000 miles). BMW engines (excluding the BMW M) may consume up to one quart of engine oil per 750 miles under certain driving conditions.” He added that BMW’s M performance models may consume even more oil than that.

its great for racing.

because it was so good it got banned instantly.
It's one thing to win consistently.
Its another to make an engine accoding to all rules, curb stomp everyone that even organizers get so butthurt they ban the thing.

>787B win it's LeMans debut
>fuel allotment for 2.6l class gets lowered so far it can no longer run

>race officials are that mad.

>Mazda competed in 94 LeMans races

Good job on being fucking stupid

He's wrong and so are you
The 787b (not the 767 or 787) won its debut race at le mans
The r26b saw a lot of races

>94 attempts at le mans
Seriously dude use your fucking brain

>this thread
>rotaryfags getting triggered

rotary is just so great that nobody makes them anymore, that's how good they are

>it burns oil so that means it was by design
No, what the fuck kind of logic is that?
Engines are not designed to burn oil.
(Except shitty rotaries)

>Mazda only raced the R26B in the top category of LeMans once

Mazda still makes rotaries, you dumb sperg

>Mazda still makes rotaries, you dumb sperg
what new rotary car can you go out and buy today

>What are two strokes

Dumb skunkfucker

>car = engine

Nice, the cuck couldnt defend his argument and had to move the goalposts

you are retarded.
>pretends to know shit about driving
>almost crashes off a cliff saying it was all planned and show of skill
>pretends to be le ebin super f1 team qualified mechanic
>utterly clueless about engines and cars

Were not talking about 2 strokes tho
Also I've built more 2 strokes than you've ever touched

you forgot
>is a furfag

you move goalposts faster than a tuned FD on a uphill

>"No engine burns oil, except rotaries"
>Two strokes
>"b-but"
I've bet you've sucked a lot more dog dick too

Stay BTFO furcuck

>le goalpost moving meme

swear to christ you faggots cant do anything but repeat what you hear other people say on this shithole website and post some anime reaction image with it

none of you can drive for shit and you all own shit ass cars,

Piston cuck gets BTFO, develops terminal butthurt, ragequits as a result. Manysuch cases. Sad!

>what is context
Stay mad tho

>It's another MrCummy gets BTFO thread

>b-but 2 strokes
>oh, you mean those things that I literally build daily
>b-btfo... tho

Thank god this failed experiment is finally over

that's every thread though
>mfw rotaryfags AND mrcummy get btfo in the same thread

Mazda still produces new 13b's, 20b's and renesis engines.

>mopeds

pffffthahahaha

I do anything with a motor, anything

It's like no one on Veeky Forums knows about two stroke motors....

Well yeah, they still have to make spare parts for the old ones, because you have to rebuild the pieces of shit so much. They've given up on making rotary cars though because it's just not a good idea

>arguing about inferior technology
electric is superior. it's like arguing who performed better in the special olympics.

>I do anything with a motor, anything
except cool stuff

?
define cool

>none of you can drive for shit and you all own shit ass cars
sounds like MrFurry

not hipster mopeds and driving your POS volvo like a retard while having metalfag tier disgusting long hair and being a furfag

you realize every time anyone sees a post with the name Mrcummy, the first thing that comes to mind is your dumb ass nearly sliding off a cliff?

>thinks all I own is a volvo
???
Metal is for children

>Electric is superior
Not in the realm of performance. Performance is an all encompassing term that includes every aspect of a car (except the comfort of the driver). This includes acceleration, horsepower, torque, braking distance, and turning capability. All of these are great in electric vehicles. However, fuel efficiency and maintenance capability (pit stop efficiency) are also part of the term "performance", and this is where electric vehicles fall flat. A tesla can beat a McLaren across a set distance, but when you get into longer endurance races the Tesla runs out of juice and takes hours to charge. I understand that they are working on replaceable batteries but when a tesla cannot complete Nurburgring without losing power, it makes it a terrible performance vehicle. Iron those kinks out and I'm right there with you.

They are not designed to burn oil, but a bmw engineer says them burning WAAAAAAAAAAY more oil than a rotary is "normal"?
I don't get it

Why is an engine designed to burn oil, burning significantly less than an engine that isn't designed to?

>Why is an engine designed to burn oil, burning significantly less than an engine that isn't designed to?
because some engines are just shit.

>Some piston engines suck

>All rotaries suck

except that it lost at the previous year in the 787

>this is what rotards actually believe

>This assmad they got BTFO

Except they didnt race in the top category the previous year, sperg

Why is Veeky Forums the board with the most bullying?
I'd almost feel bad for mrcummy if he wasn't such an ass

he gets bullied because he deserves it.
He's some fag ass furfag who, despite having thousands of gfur porn, hates gays and can't drive so he benchraces and shitposts.

>hates gays

implying that's a bad thing

Rotary engines are only good for WW1 fighter aircraft

Wow, just wow...

Two strokes burn oil by design you ignorant niglet

Kill yourself asap
