According to wiki, 30-50 hours depending on how intensive the combat. So like 200k/hour maximum, realistically 120-150k/hour.

Curious, anyone know why amulets of fury are skyrocketing? Is there an update or something? I thought the only jewelry affected was ring of wealth?

I think they changed it to 70 recently and nobody gives enough of a shit to update. Or I'm completely wrong.

Are crystal tool seeds worth using? Have some sitting in my bank from slayer tasks but I've never bothered to use or sell them.

onyx is going to be used in the luck rings or to recharge hydrix rather than furies. demand with diminishing supply.

Wasteless crystal smithing + normal wasteless smithing + portable forge means I can actually profit when smithing stuff, rune 2hs or malev for example

new rings require onyx and so does fury so

I just bought an Amulet of Zealots. Did I make a mistake or is it worth it? Should I use it if I already have an amulet of souls?

Zealots is great for low intensity stuff like slayer. Only disadvantage is you can't afk tasks with split necklace anymore.

Is it good for bossing? Would the accuracy boost be significant if used with T95 prayers?

It doesnt work with t95 prayers, only with leech curses which, when coupled with the zealots, can actually far outdo the t95 by quite a bit. Good for stuff like qbd i reckon.

As the other user mentioned, only works with curses.

I was including low-level bosses in the 'low intensity' category though. For real bosses you either want reaper for dps or souls for the +10% deflect prayers.

Again, Amulet of Zealots isn't meant for high level bossing, and it's not going to increase accuracy very much. It does provide a +10-20% boost to damage (better than t99 curses), which is why it is the best amulet in the game for slayer, because you will nearly always have 100% accuracy without needing prayers.

You can use it on bosses you have 100% accuracy on like QBD

ok ok I misunderstood you. So its great for slayer. Awesome. I'll just use my amulet of souls for bossing, and the zealots for slayer on tasks in which I don't use the bonecrusher necklace (forgot the name)

Well from what I read it depends on the prayer you use, but I may be misunderstanding it. If you use leech attack, I'm assuming that gets boosted. If you use leech strength, then that will get boosted instead, etc.

Accuracy leeches boost by a numerical value whereas strength leeches boost by percentage. Zealots boosts the effects of a leech curse by 10%, so for leech attack you're only gaining +10% of 5, but for leech strength you're gaining +10% additive to +8%. Using leech defense on top of this can give you enormous boosts to damage, but not very much for accuracy.

Sorry, but if you can give me a scenario on how this would work on a slayer task. I would be wearing the Zealots, then activate both leech str and leech def? I thought you could only activate one or the other.

For comparison turmoil is only +10%. You can use leech attack, strength and defence at the same time but there's no point if you're already 100% accurate.

Take any slayer task you use turmoil on for increased damage. Instead of using turmoil, use leech strength (and optionally leech defense) for +18% damage boost compared to turmoil's +10%. Can't remember exactly how much leech defense adds to damage on top of this, but I think it was 1-2%. The only important difference here is that leech curses build whereas turmoil just boosts and remains, so you have to remain in combat to stay at the +8% boost for leech strength. If you get out of combat, it goes back down to +2% until you enter combat again for a few seconds.

Basically you're trading +10 attack levels in accuracy for +10% damage. Also, you can use leech defense and leech strength at the same time; both benefit from Zealots.

You can leech atk/str/def at the same time.

Disregard anything I said about leech defense; I was mistaken. It only works on hit chance and is thus entirely useless. Basically just use leech strength/ranged strength/magic strength and zealots.

slayer is one of the skills i dont feel is an absolute grind since you get to change tasks alot.

Well, we only got to 2500% in like 9-10 months, so maybe by the end of the year?

variance being you're not staring at the same monsters/location the whole time. and it's usually profitable.
i'd prefer to do slayer over a lot of the other skills at least.

never, every auto attack can kill you at 4000%, or atleast do like 8k damage thru prayer. it'd be entirely luck based around 4000%

Probably not until new gear/damage mitigation. the few top telos have the fight down pat mechanically, but they're getting to the point where the damage is high enough to simply one-shot you through damage mitigation. Not only that, but you're increasingly reliant on achto procs as enrage goes up, and you can only get so lucky.
