Yeah, i spent like 2 months of paychecks to open myself up to an opportunity I wouldn't have a chance at again. Living in dorms is a one time thing, no one does it past first year. The uniqueness of the experience and the fact that I would have never had such a chance again made it well worth.

Completely agree, my primary reason was and is to get educated and I don't understand going just to party / get a degree that will possibly set you up for a job (learn about what you're interested in, become the smartest you can be).

It wasn't just partying for me, though. Living in rez set up some solid networks of incredibly smart / talented people with all kinds of skillsets and I've already benefited from it. I treat parties, and even clubbing to a point, as a chance to have some fun and make connections. Initially yes I just went for the girls but I matured, haha.

It also taught me how to balance work/school with life, which was a pretty solid lesson to learn early on
