pyro flamethrower is already a track aim weapon, just the only people who know how to track with it reliably have bothered making a server, turning on sv_cheats 1, and then finally tf_debug_flamethrower 1. i recommend you firstly watch some of sketchek's videos and use tr_walkway_fix, it is a good map for practicing as the character, and is worth doing even if you don't play pyro just because it will highlight most pyro user's major weaknesses and just be a general gauge of threat as its obvious as fuck who doesn't know the hitboxes

eh, given what you have to give up to use it it's not that bad.
I'd say it's the most balanced knife atm except for the spycicle which i never found interesting at all once they removed the "silent" kill thing, it's basically a reskin of stock
