I run two 1080gtx in sli and I have to apply heavy antyaliasing (+128x) or they will explode out of unused power. 128x gets rid of every little edge in game so everything is this blury

The point of an int build is
1) To get the skills much faster than with a companion
2) You get a bonus from having it on yourself as a player as opposed to a companion. For example if you have 2 surgery and a companion has 10 it's effectively 10(+1)=11 while if you had 10 surgery yourself it'd be 10(+4)=14

It's perfectly viable to get everything on your companions though and IMO more fun.

The player gets bonuses to their party skills. So for example, player trainer (10), or Surgery (10) is actually (10)+4. Fourteen. Because Surgery and Trainer and even tactics(if you aren't playing at a 1,000 battlesize) are very strong, these extra points are actually worth it. Furthermore, the player character levels up much faster than companions, so you can get a really strong army and start rolling people much quicker. Your high trainer will also mean that companions level faster. Generally you want to go to 27 INT, since most of the strong skills can make the jump from (9) to (10) with books. Once you hit 27 int you can also specc into CHA to help deal with troop wages and morale.
Personally, I also invested into strength early (15 strength) so I could still have a decently strong character in fights.

The only two things I want for Bannerlord are better sieges and maybe build your own town / castle.

Are there? I know you are able to build them in villages, but you can't "roam" inside them like you can if you live in a town or castle.

in 1257 you can build manors that appear on the map and have scenes and population numbers, and you can eventually upgrade them to castles
