I just drove a manual car for the first time today and it's pretty easy, before i was afraid but now i'm not anymore. Take about 20 minutes to you to learn the basics and get the car moving.

It's not hard, you just need to "break the ice"

Wat car?

This is not your fucking personal blog.

Everybody fucking learns manual in due fucking time.

I got to get used to manuals when i was 13.

wow, 13? why did you wait so long?
i was forced to learn when i was 7 years old

Here we go

>tfw genuinely learned when I was 7 because of dirtbikes

well my dad works at nintendo and can still beat your dad.

It took me up to 13 because up until then i was learning how to drive a plane and a submarine and a spaceship and how to take drugs and hacking and i was getting laid. Specially with you're mom.

Do you feel special now?

7 years old?
i was driving manual in the womb, in fact my mother was the first manual I drove

>shits on auto all day long
>user learns to drive manual
>shits on user for learning and being proud

have fun with stick buddy

we dont shit on him for learning manual. We shit on him for this blog post.

>hurr durr blog post

proceeds to bump the thread anyway

SEGA GOES IN ALL FIELDS

>proceeds to do the same
ggwp no re.

maybe there are some people who lurk who don't have the confidence to get out and learn manual and after seeing that OP got the hang of it in 20 min they now have the confidence to go out and try.

Yes, that is what learning to drive is like.

I just learned today on a camaro and drove around for 2 hours. I did pretty fucking well. I was scared of hills but learned how to stay still with nothing but the clutch.

Enjoy burning your clutch. Use the fucking handbrake.

user didn't 'learn' anything. you can't develop muscle memory in 20 minutes, he just learned what to do. put him on a hill with an audi behind him and lets see how good user does

@op fuck off till you've been driving for more time than you wank

Retard alert. Only 18 year old girls and 80 year old seniors who can't hold the brake for a longer period of time do the handbrake method.

> audi behind him and lets see how good user does

Audis such a cheap piece of shit if your wheel threw a pebble at it and scratched the paint the audi would be totalled

>less wear to the brakes and clutch
>no glare on drivers behind you
>can just bang it in neutral and adjust your feet if needed
Why wouldn't you use the handbrake if you're stopped for more than a few seconds? Obviously holding it at bite+using the normal brakes is better if it's not a prolonged stop

probably a troll/10

handbrakes are also getting wear from that. Be a fucking man and use your foot.

>wear on brakes
>from not moving
what the fuck are you retards talking about

Using the handbrake puts always friction on the rear brakes. That's how they work.

If you want to leave the car on neutral and no brakes when still, that's fine. Congratulations. I personally also like to put my foot down in case someone behind me likes to have an extra chromosome and using the hand brake every time i stop the car becomes annoying and a waste of time.

Because it's just an annoying thing that you don't have to do if you know how to drive.
>>less wear to the brakes and clutch
Yeah you will have to replace them 50 miles later if you get lucky. Irrelevant if you ask me
>>no glare on drivers behind you
Idk what you mean
>>can just bang it in neutral and adjust your feet if needed
>if needed
Well it isn't needed, at least for me.

South American here, i drove a Fiat Palio, 99% of chance that this car doens't existe in your country

youre fucking stupid

what are we twelve? that's the best you can do?
>youre fucking stupid

rip in peace he just decimated my life

ayy friendo is it the 1.4 FIRE?

salu3

Brasil?

I live in argentina. Those fucking palios.

I personally sometimes really want a 2nd gen Ren Clio tho. They are just so small. Its like a mix between hardcore sex between a miata and a twingo.

>learned manual at 10 on a farm
>business trip to Stuttgart many moons later
>deutschette notices i am 'merican
>second guesses herself as i am thin
>Ah, ein Amerikan?
>Vee vill get you large automatische, Opal vagon, ist OK?
>No, manual transmission please
>OK, vee have BMW funfer
>giddy.jpg
>never driven anything built in this millenium
>push button start, park assist
>WTF.jpg
>lot attendant sees smoke from my ears
>hellmarch.gif
>Hallo
>Guten tag
>Wie kann ich ihnen helfen?
>talks too fast, like chipmunk on der Pervitin
>Wo ist die schusel hole?
>LOL.jpg
>hellmarchesaway.gif
>5 minutes later, finally in gear

I don't have any trouble just using my feet to hold the car on a hill, but if you're stopped for a while there's no point in not just using your handbrake.
And by glare I mean dazzle from your brake lights

Ok. Now try to explain it again but without the spanish.

no komprendo

>wo ist die schusel hole
meine Seiten

yes, in a panic to ask for the (Schluessel not schusel) key hole, i asked for the scatterbrain hole

no wonder he walked off so fast

yes, palio fire hahah

Brasil, yes

clio is fine, better than a palio, but i prefer a chevrolet celta

Chevrolet celtas. Aren't them like the GM version of the Suzuki fun?

>Suzuki fun
i didn't know that but yes, exactly that

>tfw when I was a sperm I was a manual

>tfw learned manual earlier this year
>am 22

>Not using handbrake and foot brake at the same time

this will literally be me in a few months.
currently learning manual at 21

op here

learning manual at 19 years old
