They thought that maybe they could force vita users to buy the more expensive version for that extra $20 per copy and it backfired.

It sure didn't make me even consider getting the ps4 version, backfired indeed.

And they went back to digital only instead of physical + digital because why the fuck would they spend more on printing vita physicals when they're going to be sold for less than the less expensive to print PS4 copies.

Bamco is one of the companies that are kings of bad ideas, you could show them that a certain platform game version sold more even if it was digital only over the physical version and they'll still think it bombed.

I have no idea. They released screenshots, this review and some short videos and that's about it I think.

I would guess probably the usual Atelier level kind of undertones, if any, since I haven't seen any heavy stuff (say compared to YYNK) and the character videos are pretty tame.

It just wasn't up to what Namco expected it to sell, more than likely they expected the vita version to fail due to it being digital only and being the version of the "dead" console.

You know it's good when one of his complaints is that there's no NG+ to really pour time into. Although now that he says it, I do wish there was an NG+ since this game has to tide me over all the way until DT2-2's release...

Parsing Japanese is distracting.

I thought the game isn't very lewd, though it has bath scenes, swimsuits etc. Seems more like the lighter kind of fanservice (without sexualizied language or touching minigames).

I just realized that the petition for Cyber Sleuth actually worked which was why we even got it, but on top of the petition working, ended up being GoTY for tons of websites on Vita and selling significantly more than on PS4.

I want it on Vita which is what I'm wondering about. It's a given that it'll be localized, but I'm not sure on what system as the leaked trophies didn't say.

Caligula was a budget title for better or worse though. Response to the game was very average too, with people saying outside of the music, it was standard RPG fare.

I took Chinese for 2 years. I wish I learned Japanese instead since there have been more times I could have used it

Just when I thought I had found all the crests I could get in the demo I found one more. So I'm only missing 2 mahoraba surroundings crests and 1 age of peace crest. Also farmed the fuck out of Phytodior to make his armor, got every mitama and maxed the store's current inventory (saving more people only refills his stock now).
