Some of my favourite VNs are completely lack in H-content. I think H-content is pretty irrelevant to quality - due to how many good games have H-content, and how good that H-content cane be, I think that it can be easy to misconstrue H-content as being relevant to the quality of a game, but most of the time, I don't really think it is (exceptions for games like Nanairo Reincarnation which thoroughly integrate lewdness into the basic story). Overall, the quality of a VN rests on mantles such as writing, characters, and to some, art; H-content are just sprinkles on top of that cupcake - and while one may draw a connection between sprinkles being good and a cupcake being good, in the end, it's just the cupcake that matters. Sprinkles on shit doesn't make shit good, no sprinkles on a cupcake doesn't change that the cupcake is good. って感じかな
