Usually this is what I do.

A lot of people like the RR's version of taking down the BoS but i find it to be incredibly underwhelming considering the BoS are supposedly the toughest enemies in Fallout

Besides, there isn't much of an infiltration if all you do is press the CTRL key and move to the waypoints

I'll try to work on it, but I'd really appreciate a patch that gets this to work.

I'll try to get it to work myself but for some reason I haven't mad much luck. All that's happened so far is that when I start the game it says I have none of the required ammo and then crashes.

In just 4? The NCR and Legion are both propped up to be way tougher, not even in Fallout 3 is the BoS the toughest faction.

I think it's kinda wonderfully ironic that the Brotherhood in 4 can get wiped out due to the exact same flaw of thinking that can get the original brotherhood and the Mojave brotherhood getting their asses kicked.

Refusing to see anything but the most advanced tech as worth bothering about, either as an asset or a threat, time and time again they focus on the rarest, slickest technology both to use and as their target, while what ends up doing them in are always low tech things like a bunch of guys with rifles or primitive artillery.

Elijah's endgame always reminds me of Bob Page's plan in Deus Ex. Ah, I literally just got it working, and you're right, I forgot to make a new file. I deleted that post because I realized what I'd done wrong and didn't want to waste your time after I fixed it.

How do you go about removing master files from a mod? There's this old overhaul mod for the Minutemen that I really love but it has a few master files that I don't like keeping around, namely kinda shitty weapon mods from the early months of FO4 modding, and I'd like to get rid of them if I can.

open the mod in fo4edit, then right click on the .esp entry and select 'Clean Masters'. as long as the Minuteman overhaul mod doesn't have any entries left over from those old weapon mods, it'll remove them as masters.

Those weapons are in the leveled lists for the altered minutemen NPCs, though they can spawn in with other guns too. Basically I'd like to remove those weapons so I can uninstall the crappy old weapon mods, so how do I remove those entries so the 'clean masters' thing can work?

I installed Extended New Vegas Radio Generator, followed everything it said to do with the audio files, and now there's no music on Radio New Vegas. What gives?

Did you:
- enable the .esp that was generated
- rename your files properly
- make sure your files are in the right folder

Try following the guide to this: nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/40453/?, it skips some steps and comes with its own songs and see if that works.

File the daffodil-colored copy in the Corporate Bin, file the lemon-colored copy in the Local Bin, place the canary-colored copy in the Medical Bin, place the gold-colored copy in the Insurance Bin and present the yellow copy to the applicant. go to your Fallout 4 data folder and delete the remaining mod .esps manually, then they'll disappear from NMM's list.

Ok I got most of that gone, managed to cut out two of the mods so far, but this one entry refuses to let me remove it. It's not giving me the option.

It's 20 star-cores to save all the robots, I have a full set of shadowed combat armor, half a pack of stealthboys, it's dark and I am wearing sunglasses.

Then I reloaded a previous save, console-commanded in all the cores I needed and stealthboy'd my way to the console room because I did it all before anyway.

Do the Railroad questline up until you would come into conflict with the Brotherhood, then switch to the Minuteman ending.

Golden ending, everyone's happy, no inter-faction conflict.

Yeah, I made Danse the elder, so I no longer have a problem with the brotherhood in my opinion.

Danse will keep the good things that Maxson did, the good things that Lyons did and instate his own reforms. At least that's my post ending fanfic that I have in my head.

I really do think Danse will make a great elder. Someone with all the best values of the Brotherhood but his own experience has shattered the blind fanaticism and more bigoted elements of the dogma so I think he'll strike the right balance between the old doctrines and common sense.

Does make me think though that the ultimate fate of the Brotherhood as an overall organization is to continue to fragment and splinter into these increasingly divergent and isolated offshoots that have long since ceased to be part of the same organization and could even end up going to war with each other.

Eh, I 'solved' this by just editing the entry to have them use an AK from a much better, recent mod. So I guess it's all good in the end. Goodbye crappy old guns.
