I test drove a 2017 Impreza sport two months ago, ended up buying a 2017 fiesta st instead. The subaru is nice inside but it felt slower than my last car that was 130hp fwd.
honda fit?
Lmfao no it isnt fun to drive you retard
You can get a used fiesta st for $15k, probably the most fun to drive newish used car you can buy.
A fwd grocery getter...yeah sounds like a fuckin blast
No. Just get a civic for 3k.
Alright buddy, keep your buspass then. Fiesta st is the number one new car bought by Auto journalists for a reason.
Not to sound like a retard, but what's so great about it? It looks like something my mom would drive.
Nothing. The St is shit just like all new econoboxes. At 15k you should just save a little more for a g37 or an Accord coupe v6.
I'll look into those. What's your opinion on an FR-S?
Underpowered. Meme engine.
You really should just get a civic for 3k
No. They were fun through 2006, then Subaru turned them into a mom car.
older ones are fun if you're willing to push them to their absolute limits.
thats like sourcing consumer reports for information about BMW's
The ST doesn't have shit on the impreza's AWD
Gti, Mazdaspeed 3, FRS, Mini Cooper S, Miata..You have tons of options at that budget.
>meme engine
same engine in the impreza and wrx

yea some rando journalists say some stupid shit meanwhile this thing is a rolling fireball
They can be. They take a lot of WRX chassis/suspension upgrades easily.
But, you gotta wind that na motor out to get up to any speed.
>2014 and 2015 Fiest ST
What about newer revisions? This article was released recently.
Just got a BRZ, fun RWD car. Sure it's not a fast car but it's easily modified. I'd test drive one.

even though the article i got this from is attempting to convince me the SUBARU IS THE BETTER CAR, it fucking isnt.
Mazda gets more power and torque from a FWD than subaru can squeeze out of their pathetic CVT 4wd. NOT TO MENTION it uses MORE FUEL from a SMALLER ENGINE fucking REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE fuck subaru
Fiesta ST makes like ~187hp and has a 2,500lb curb weight, that's a very good power to weight ratio.
They're quite a small car though and might not be practical enough for you.
I'd look at mazdaspeed 3's. Quite a bit of room, pretty comfy and a nice 2 litre turbo for some play.
>2.0I
>Engine: 2.5L
you might wanna check your info. The Impreza comes in 2 configs, a 2L FA-20 and a 2.5L EJ25
the 2.5L is the mazda.
woops my bad
remember the AWD is probably the reason it uses more fuel
>15k
You can get a decent 2010 (or older) WRX for that kind of money.
