What is the best DD car for $20K? Can be used or new, must be fun to drive, preferably RWD or AWD, get at least decent gas mileage, and not be old or obscure to the point where parts can't be found.

Pic maybe related?

No. Look up the cost of ownership for the 370 or do the math yourself if you're capable. They cost $10k a year to daily drive. You might as well buy a used German luxury car, it'll perform just as well and ride 10x nicer while costing the same

2004-2010 535i, 545i, or 550i.

BRZ

You're a fucking retard.

Prove it.

subaru legacy

I call bullshit

>Financing = $4,000 a year
>Insurance =$2000 to $3000 a year
>Gas = 15k miles per year daily driver. REQUIRES PREMIUM FUEL. Another $2000-$2500 a year
>Basic Maintenance every 5k miles and Full Service every 15k = $500-$1000 per year
>Registration and Fees = give or take $500 a year depending on where you live.
>+ Wear and tear items that need replacing and any surprise repairs, put away another $100 a month. So $1000

Add that all up

>DD

So this is subjective

I don't know if you know this but every car requires gas, maintenance, and registrarion. Unless the 370Z is a ticking time bomb like I expected you to tell me then that whole list is shit.

>So this is subjective
No, learn what that word means before you use it like a retard
>then that whole list is shit.
No, learn how to do math and research before you buy a car.

I've been driving a 370z for the last 5 years.

+1

Surely you could have saved up enough money to afford a better phone that takes less blurry photos then, what with driving such an expensive luxury car and all...

Not my priority. My GS5 still works fine. What are you currently driving? Do you own your own house or do you still live in mom's basement?

So then be specific shitbag, and tell me what the actual issues are, instead of telling me regular costs every car has

I rent in NYC and pretty much Uber everywhere.

Why do you ask?

Is your brain defective or something? What kind of fucking retard is unable to use Google on his own in this day and age? BTW if you have ask these types of questions and your worried about specifics then this car is definitely not for you.

Buy a new Mustang with a warranty pussy

You don't even own a car? Why the fuck are you here?

This, a trans am or a corvair.

>GM Traah

nice m8 you really got me, oh boy!

something wrong with being an auto enthusiast who doesn't own a car?

That's some bullshit about the 370z, why the fuck would you count financing as a running cost for the car? maybe if insurance was more than an equivilant car that'd be a good point, but it's not. Same for fuel economy. As for servicing, i don't know how your paying 1000 dollars for 3 oil changes and a fluid flush/sparks/coils once a year. Registration is also the same on all cars.

Two against one and I'm starting to realize that you know you're wrong but want to keep going anyway

Why bother saying it has issues if you don't want to talk about that

Fuckin boot

>Financing
This is retarded, clearly not a running cost
>Insurance
Insurance is no greater than any other car in it's catagory
>Fuel
Fuel economy isn't great, but again it's not like it costs significantly more than anything comparable
>Basic maintainence
Even nissan won't charge you that much for 2 5k services and a 15k service, and this is assuming you can't pour a liquid from a container into a funnel and change your own oil
>registration
Literally every car
>Wear and tear items $100 a month
on a brand new car? What kind of pile is this thing?

Way to totally avoid the point

Holy shit you're fucking retarded, how does that cost any more than any other car.

The short answer is he's living paycheck to paycheck with tremendous buyers remorse and is now taking out on everyone else.

lol no, a 370 definitely does not cost 10k a year to DD

It costs maybe 500 more a year in insurance than a corolla and gets 30% worse fuel economy.

>something wrong with being an auto enthusiast who doesn't own a car?
Yeah
>why the fuck would you count financing as a running cost for the car?
Because cars aren't free.
>maybe if insurance was more than an equivilant car that'd be a good point, but it's not
Rewrite that statement, I don't know what you mean. Insurance rates have many variables that determine how much needs to be paid, I gave the above figure a wide range to cover what others might pay. I'm 25 and pay $181 a month for full coverage cause I currently live in a college town.
>As for servicing, i don't know how your paying 1000 dollars for 3 oil changes and a fluid flush/sparks/coils once a year
I pay the dealership to do it. That's why I put $500 on the low end as well.

>REQUIRES PREMIUM FUEL
>REQUIRES PREMIUM FUEL
>REQUIRES PREMIUM FUEL
>REQUIRES PREMIUM FUEL
REQUIRES PREMIUM FUEL

lol ur fucked

Samefag

Try harder

Lol what you can't like cars just because you don't have one? god knows you can't get any women but i bet you still jack it thrice daily to whatever's trending on pornhub

Finance is not a "running cost" i have no idea how you work that around in your head.

>projecting

Shut the fuck up you goddamn nigger. Exactly how many friends do you have that actually hang like to be around you? Does it take more than even 1 hand to count?

How embarrassing

It's not like it's an expensive car to insure considering the bracket it's in. It's easily one of the cheapest new 2 seat sports cars you can DD

What do you call it then? Owning a car and running it are separate costs for you? You lump in the cost of ownership and running costs all in one so you know exactly how much money is being spent on the vehicle

are you serious? You only enjoy your one car that you own? you don't spend any time on the internet salivating over cool cars, you never go to shows? you never go to the track just to watch?

How can you call yourself a car enthusiast?

>projecting harder
Did I hurt your feelings?

If i came up to you and said "OMFG YOU CAN'T AFFORD A 370Z, IT COSTS 10K A YEAR TO DD" you'd be like "Damn i can't afford that shit"

But if i came up to you and said "OMFG A NEW COROLLA IS 8K A YEAR TO DD" you'd be like "Well fuck, that's cheap, thank god there's options for poor people like me"?

No, nobody would. This 10k figure is retarded.

lol wtf as if it costs 10k a year to have a shitty car I spend less than that yearly on my m3 and i daily that (only 10k miles a year tho)

You're a pathetic little man

>no (You)'s
>still responds

...

I'm not sure why it didn't tag

...

Hehe. I don't live paycheck to paycheck, I was in the Airforce for 4 years and I'm currently a junior at university. Literally everything I own is paid off and I'm able to put away almost a $1000 a month into my investment portfolio. The z is the only flashy thing I own and I was a kid when I bought it

Nothing wrong with fwd in traffic areas.

Good luck going past 65 mph.

In fact good luck going more than 30 mph on the highway.

"M-muh fun steering." Yes enjoy your 5 mph shit turn with the grand going literally 2 mph making that turn in front of you blocking.

Why do you think millennial don't give a fuck about cars? Traffic

Came here to say moostang ecoboost. Goodbye

with snow tires perfectly fine

Love those GTOs. Been looking for one for a few years that hasn't been molested by an idiot asshole. It's ridiculous the number of these things I've seen with ebay shade tree mods.

A 370Z does not cost anywhere near $10k a year to drive. My parents own a 2012 370Z and they haven't even put that much into it the entire time they've owned it.

I am in Florida. Snow isn't an issue.

Haven't gotten mine hektic yet, but I found it to respond easily and naturally to a bit of counter steer during times I took a corner too hot. So far, coming from AWD, it's a matter of getting used to how it doesn't just plow through snow from a stop, and how easy it is to spin a wheel at low speed turning a corner.

It'll never be the snow monster my Impreza was, but so far it seems like it'll be quite capable outside of major snowfall.

PS OP if you don't get a DD w/ at least 300 hp you are a PUSSY FAGGOT

OP pic is acceptable
