I've had it consistently do 8 damage per second to players. It poisons after three R1s with the Rotten Ghru Dagger. Carthus Curved Greatsword and Spiked Mace get 120+ poison meaning they can instantly poison in a charged R2 or weapon skill.

No idea about toxic though.

Maybe it's just so you don't drop 99 embers by accident instead of just 1 or something of the sort.

They didn't seem to upscale the scaling of auxiliary effects luck provides. I only get +6 to my 121 poison great hammer with 38 luck. Hopefully they'll adjust it in a hotfix later.

Yeah i mean that was always fun. Anris straightsword hasn't been nerfed so now rouging or poison resin on it with man grub's will be even better. the best mage build really because low stat investment. Though I am partial to 31 int 31 faith crystal chime.

120 is most certainly the meta. You'll find all the duels at that level.

In fact, some people actually want it to be a little higher, up to 140/150.

You can invade most places if your stay around level 60. Weapon level also plays a roll though and I'm not sure where you should stop upgrading at that level.

I see some signs on PC around bosses at ~200, but nowhere near as many at 120 or under; bonfires and bosses have signs everywhere when you're around 80-100

taking a luck mage into PvP outside of pontiff's is some of the most satisfying shit.
