I think this expansion looks the best in a while but it's going to be drowned by Pirate and Jade. It's a real shame.

Pavel doesn't need to abuse alcohol to enjoy himself. He plays hearthstone, that is his drug.

I vote for Pavel for two reasons.

The biggest cancer decks are objectively the decks that frustrate you the most.
Frustration is a feeling that appears if all your efforts to achieve something are destroyed without anything you can do about it.

Thus reno decks are the most horrible piece of shit that hearthstone ever gave birth to.

I think my favorite thing about Pavel is how often he looks sort of like a villain.

Reno shitters let me play the game, they don't clear everything I put out (sometimes they do but not while putting out more minions on the board than me) and destroying my face by turn 5 or 6

"Aggro" (as in FACE IS THE PLACE) decks don't let me do anything. If I don't have ultra defensive low cost cards in my hand, I automatically lose

I agree that Reno decks are a problem, but that's pretty much because the Kazakus + Brann combo makes other control/midrange decks feel like shit

Reno decks should not be favored when playing against decks who (in theory) are more consistently good because they have duplicates
