Shadowverse and Hearthstone are equally casual, basically the only difference is whether you like anime or Warcraft universe.

The Priest Quest does fuckall. If anything it would artificially speed up the meta because going face bypasses triggering the Deathrattles.

Deathrattles don't need to trigger to count towards the quest.

Yes, but the opponent will most likely choose to ignore the Priest's understatted minions with disproportionately low attack in favor of going face so he will not have the chance to make good use of their Deathrattle effects. The Quest reward itself is basically meaningless because the minion will get removed instantly, leaving you with a lot of health (which means nothing because your opponent can just keep pushing face).
